    I don't want us to sit back, even if we are one player less on the pitch. It was somehow like we got an excuse to sit back when Chester went off. Got the impression that sitting back is what we know and feel comfortable with. If we had a playing pattern, knowing what to do in attack, we could have tried that even with one down, but as we don't have that we just don't know what to do and revert to sit back.

    Whelan taking the penalty?!?! Together with Bunn he would be the last one I'd chose to take a penalty, he can't even make clean strikes!

    I only know Baker and Weimann from that line up. We should really be out playing them with the team we have, but we wont... hopefully we will see a moment of brilliance from one of our stars and nick a win.

    Have we heard anyhting from our new CEO? Now I do prefer people who go by quiet with their business compared to the bragging type, but itsn't it normal that a new CEO at least says something? And he doesn't seem to be the quiet type anyway.

    I agree that McGinn and Hourihane are sitting too deep, they both pose a goal threat so at least one of them should be encouraged to join every attack.

    Same here, El Ghazi looks like a threat every time he gets the ball, runs at their defence, makes some irrational dribbles and puts some good crosses in. He has lost the ball a couple of times and makes some strange decisions at times, but looks like he can make things happen and has created a lot. Plays a bit like Zlatan the way he moves and dribbles.

    Was he the one who assisted Tammy for the goal with that sublime through ball? I think he has passed the ball more in this half than he has in his whole time at the club!

    A very positive line up, 4-4-2 with two cm who both pose a goal threat, two wingers who make things happen every time they get the ball and two strikers. Wish we had set up like this before, hope we continue this way and let the team gel. It's still no real cohesion or pattern in the play, but much more positive and we create a lot. I would have loved to see a fit McCormack as one of the two strikers...

    Thanks for posting the clips, very interesting. He seems to argue strongly for his opinions, and seems to have quite good insight in how clubs are run. Gives the impression that he is someone you don't want to mess with. Now it's time for him to make the right decisions here. Anyone who knows what he has been doing over the last few years?
