Those underestimating the bearded 'beast' (I declare him our new beast) can't have seen him play too much. He will bring strength and unity to our midfield not seen for years. If he is a flop I will publicly ridicule myself on VT....

No our net spend last season was closer to zero.... this year our net spend is closer to 40 million already. Hence why we already have a better team than last year....

Does this mean you want Bendtner? Cos if you do i dont think you've followed his career recently. I for one would be furious if we signed him, it would undo all the work that has been done to create a new culture at the club....

Give these guys a break. We could keep the current pace up for another month and still win this league with the team we have on paper. Plus we know at least 2 more players should come in. You would think they should improve the quality of the team. I have my doubts, we all do but I'm going to try and be proud and positive of my club again instead of being scared of the next game. This team playing as a team, working with each other and for each other..... this team could rip this league to shreds and go straight back up with a better suited team for the PL than any team we've had for the last 5 years. If im a wishful thinker, then so be it.....

Do we really need to get rid of Westwood? He hasnt got a toxic attitude and he isnt a bad influence on others as far as I'm aware. At this point there is competition for places even more so if we bring in 1 or 2 more in the midfield. The way it goes from there is he fights for his spot, if he is good enough he gets in if not he warms the bench or plays reserves. Then he is either happy or unhappy with his role, and he stays or asks to go..... but 'get rid' of a decent player that conducts himself well and tries hard, when we are in the championship and have a minimum of 48 games to play, seems a tad trigger happy to me.

Ok so I picked up my dummy and the next 4 games went 3-0 against Fleetwood (LC) 0-4 against Liverpool 2-1 against Sunderland (after being 1-0) 2-0 against Palace In my last game I used 4-2-3-1, Its actually my favourite tactic but I feel the gap between the wingers and fbs is too big, this worries me a lot. However I fiddled with PPI, which I dont normally do and my team looked solid. It was almost the realistic match Ive seen on FM16 recently. I think most of my problems can be solved in the actual game tactics. Forums Ive read seems the logical solution. I must be using not enough and too many at different times and confusing my players..... We will see how the next few games go.... Im pretty keen to get FM17 and play with ouor current squad.

So I've put more time into pre season and tactics than ever before. Then i draw Man u, arsenal and Chelsea my first 3 games being beaten 2-0, 3-1 and 3-0 given away 4 penalties and already morale is shot to pieces. Think i may just give up and concede that FM16 got the better of me.....

Thanks mate for the advice. As frustrating as it is I am going to start over again. I have been doing some reading and I think I am still playing the game too quickly (I am very prone to this). Im going to pay more attention to players roles and developing my tactics pre season. Can I ask, how long do you spend on each game preparing.
