I may be clutching at straws here and i certainly am in the camp of wanting Gabby gone..... but if anyone could humble Gabby into pulling his head in it might just be Stan.... even with just his presence in the change rooms might be enough to control his attitude and make him try harder

While I agree with you wholeheartedly from a making a stand and paving the way for a new beginning surely we can find someone to take him on if we pay part wages...... no point throwing away good money remember we are saving up so we can be the best team in the world (we're going to need lors and lots of money $$$$$$)

More than happy to mate just thought calling me childish and pathetic may have been taking my opinion a bit too personally but happy to accept i chose to write a concise statement that didnt outline my thoughts very well.... here's hoping for happy times ahead. We all support the Villa proudly.

He has thrown some spare change and put his name to it, he could of easily done it anonymously like everybody else does. I do take your point but I have long had an issue with wealthy people not sparing a bit more... but that is a whole other topic.

So he donates 1/60th of his weekly income and im meant to be impressed. Ive given more than 1/60th of my weekly income to multiple good causes and never got recognised for it.... mind you i didnt do it for recognition. Sorry Gabby your a tightass give one weeks wages (which you didnt earn anyway) then maybe I'll tip my hat to you.....

Well I have got Forest back into the PL feel pretty darn proud too. After hours and hours of study i think i have some solid tactics. 3 games into my 1st PL season 2 wins and a loss (1-0 to chelski).... best part is i absolutely love my squad, its well balanced and i have 0 superstars.....

From what very little I actually know about Mr. Hollis I wouldnt be surprised if he was offered a job but turned it down as he knows the limit of his capabilities.... selling a business in the shit was right up his alley..... running an aspiring football club..... well im probably better equipped with all my FM experience.

Just want to say thanks Steve.... im sure you got paid well for job but nevertheless just want to give you a cheerio as you actually did the job you were hired for unlike 94% of staff hirings at this club for the last decade. All the best mate.... (I allowed 6% cos the pitch still looks divine)

Unfortunately i havnt seen much of Luongo as he hasnt played in Australia for a while but what i have seen i like very much. He stepped into our national team and wasn't intimidated in the slightest, i think both Luongo or Mooy would be good in our new midfield, but hey i am Aussie and pretty biased when it comes to our players. I think we are underestimated on the whole but we are born competitors.

Im an Aussie (in case that wasn't obvious) and an Adelaide United fan (current champions) and Aaron Mooy is a very good player and i think he would be good enough for the championship..... hard working and creative, so he brings two qualities that villa don't have right now!

3/4 of the way through 2nd season with Forest and its getting to me. Not going to finish as high as last season, sliding further and further into debt and cant imagine ill be given much of a transfer kitty for next season. Too boot my team has developed a bad habit of conceding whenever we are in front and conceding goals inside 2mins of kick-off.

Im unaware of difficulty settings pretty sure there aren't any.... just various options to make game easier or harder

Sounds like you're on a good thing but still i urge caution. My last villa save i qualified for europe (finished 6th) got 50 million for transfers and was sacked before new year.... my experience is this game likes to get you when you least expect it. Still congrats sounds like you having a season worth remembering.

I think you might be getting ahead of yourself. I was just on 9 game unbeaten run with my nott fst save and then got a bit slack with my match prep and lost to wolves who were in 23rd spot and hadnt won away from home in over 5 matches. Will be interested to see how your theory goes but i think you need to keep on your toes and enjoy winning as much as possible

Just started a new save with Nottingham Forrest. Tough gig.... transfer embargo for the first season.... in the red wage budget and a transfer budget of 2.6k so you struggle to even buy free agents..... 8 games in 3 wins 3 draws 2 losses and must say its very exciting playing with a team in the shape. I recommend it to anyone looking for a challenge.

If he has a relegation release clause then we will be selling him for a loss whether we want to or not..... contract length doesn't mean anything with that clause.....

Tapita is probably find of the game so far. Got him im on a free at age 21 and straight away was worth 18m. His first season with me and i think he is going to be my player of the season.
