Its dreamy yet imo realistic if the club create a new culture and move all facets of the club in a positive direction. Dare I say it, but I believe we have a good owner and a good manager..... it has been a long long time since I had that thought.

Just because I felt like it...... On this day 5 years from now: The doctor will still be our owner, he will have backed us every year. Overall he is well liked. Steve Bruce will still be our manager, although it took a little while to win the fans over. He proved he knew what he was doing and using all his managerial experience he got us promoted. With some inspired backing from the good Dr. we have assembled a very decent squad. We will be playing in the Europa league and/or will have won a domestic cup. I know, i know..... im crazy....

He is so bad that he should be publicly stoned to death in the main square. He is charged with us being shite for 5 years, getting us relegated and finally being the sole reason that we are not top of the league.... he isnt allowed to defend himseld cos he is a liar and a cheat, an allround scoundrel who never passes forwards and never tackles.........

Fair call. If i come across his book, I shall have a read. The woeful part I wrote poorly i was meaning his attitude. He has in the past played very good football. Maybe he does care but if that's so then he has problems putting whats best for the team first. He might mean well but he has often caused more problems than he was attempting to fix. Ps i still dont want him anywhere near AVFC

If we signed Barton I would stop following the villa until he left. He is the absolute epitome of a woeful and complete unproffessional footballer. He makes Gabby look saintly.....and yes thats harsh but his actions continuously make me believe is he truly a very selfish, self absorbed person i cannot be sure he even cares about the teams he plays for. Its all about Joey

Just to clarify it was only meant for the worst of the fearmongers, that were claiming that Bruce would get us relegated, or we should hate him for managing small heath. I by no means am calling him a messiah, but he probably deserves a few apologies......

Without hitting me with the 'we're a bigger club' rhetoric..... can someone give a logical reason why Dyche would leave Burnley, after a relatively safe start to the season (in the Premier League!!!!) for us, sitting 19th in the championship and a utter shambles. I have no problems with respecting him as a manager but surely its blind hope that there is any chance he would come to us..... am i wrong? Please, anyone explain it to me, I'm all ears (or eyes as i can only read what you write)

Its fixed..... hooray. I put forward Ange because he is someone I know but I'm sure therevare hundreds of other very good managers around who haven't been 'discovered' yet. I just think his style of football and the team ethos he tends to instill in every team that he has managed is exactly what villa need right now...

Ange Postecoglou should be given an interview. Way out of left field but is a very good coach and man manager.....
