This is a very good post..... I absolutely cant stand Steve Bruce but in our position I have to admit we would be lucky to get him. He would suit us right now. Wins his first game 1-0, and ill quickly change my view..

Sam always said he deserved to manage a big club..... well we would be the biggest club he has ever managed and i reckon after what has happened he would have a point to prove and a bit of fire in the belly. Surely if ge was offered the job he would accept. Big club, good facilities and an owner who will spend. I have never been a big fan of his but he is just the type of manager we need right now. It feels like then perfect match.... Then again I could be completely insane. Supporting Villa can do that to you.

Not going to risk posting on a poster again..... but even if Westwood is not playing well and probably should be dropped some of the things written about him is deplorable..... im embarassed to say the least. Make your point, voice your displeasure but articulate your point so we dont all look stupid and uneducated. Thanks in advance.

Its almost like the 4 forwards have contracts that have a clause that must all play. Instead of spending the money Kodjia that should have been spent on getting the best possible midfielder for that money. Also im not happy that no youth have been given a chance either

I think a lot of the names mentioned for a future manager arent the right ones or necessarily an improvement, i think that most Villa fans are that depressed now that we would take anyone if it gave us some hope of winning. We literally are a joke of a club even more so than when we got relegated.... I've stayed positive through Mcleish, Lambert, Garde and now RDM but im tired so bugga it lets get relegated again and have a crack at league one then......

I agree with your sentiment that it is not about promotion, at least not anymore. Ffs though is it too much to ask to not be be the laughing stock of yet another league. I was so behind RDM that now exhausted and left completely shattered again. I just want to be proud of my club.... is that too much to ask? UTV VTID

Anyone? If you want people to value your opinion maybe articulate it a little better. For example you would be very upset at me being manager..... I dont have any badges in fact Ive never even played a competitive game of football.....

Just want to go on the record that Mark Hughes is rubbish.... totally overrated manager, how people can want him here is baffling. We want rid of RDM (well some do) cos he has spent money and not got the results. Well ummm Mark Hughes has spent money ...... and not got results. If we are going to change manager it better be a definite improvement and not a sideways pass!!!

Because a lot of people on here know better.... you know they have their badges and x amount of years managing in top leagues around the world. We really are blessed that so many VT fans are experienced managers....

Um no you wouldn't..... we have spent money on new players, we are building networks in other country's and our players are more available to the media plus im sure there is other stuff that i havnt mentioned. In no way does this club currently resemble anything like the club under Lerner. Results wise, no argument as to our lacklustre position CURRENTLY! but if you write off all the other hard work that has been done, I find that a tad ignorant.
