I can't keep up, keep having 'real life' things to do, then every time I come back there's 187 replies! Fair play VT, I thought the site would crash when the news finally broke.

Always wanted Moyes but I actually like RDM, always felt he was treated harshly by Chelsea as he wasn't a big name. He'll do for me. There's no guarantees with any manager. As long as he's backed by Dr Tony then let's see where we go.

Thank the Lord! It is actually going to happen! It feels very surreal, like I still don't believe we've been sold. Is it definite then? Will Tony get buyers remorse? What's the cooling off period?

The amount of money we're gonna need to build a squad capable of competing is largely dependent on who we give it to. We need people on board who know the transfer business, understand player contracts and who can identify real talent. We've seen the opposite of this with Villa recently. With the wrong people in place making poor decisions, we could spend £60m and still have an ineffective squad. We can't afford to waste money on players that don't contribute or fit into the team. But with the right people in, doing shrewd business, we might not need that much.

Goal of the season was not to get relegated! That went well But yes, Gil's goal at Sunderland was pretty spectacular. The result ruined it somewhat though.

What on earth has Adama been doing to upset Black? Bacuna is obviously employed defensively, despite the formation. Would have loved to have seen Adama and Grealish playing off Ayew today. You know, actually playing to attack.

I'm confident there will be a sale. To who and when is anybody's guess. I just wish it would hurry up and go through so we can get on with preparing for next season. It's coming soon and we're still a mess! I've no idea what the benefit would be to waiting for the season to be over before they announce it, but I hope that's what's happening and we have an official statement on Monday morning saying the sale has gone through and the new manager is....
