My uncle died last year. He was a great man, very successful business, lovely family, nice big home, travelled the world, did loads of fund raising etc. As part of his funeral arrangements, he asked for donations to a charity that he was strongly involved with, to stop Polio in Africa. It turns out that with the donations they received, he raised enough to vaccinate everyone end eventually rid the world of Polio completely. Although he's gone, he's left a legacy and a chance of a healthy life for many more people. Bit of a legend really for that.
