  1. I don't need anything else, all bases covered with those three bad boys
  2. So annoying. It's great that they provide an atmosphere but it would be better if they focused on supporting their team rather than getting into the opposition players and the officials at every opportunity. Obviously if you tell them that you'll get a load of aggro for apparently being against them being noisy, which would be the preserve of a different kind of moron. Do you go up there often mate? More to the point, you ever watch AFC Wulfrunians play?
  3. Where's the Taylors, the Pact or even the Percolli? I feel for the man with purplely pink cup
  4. all we can do is hope. its now monday morning so i hope to hear if theres been any progress. Can confirm, it's been like shitting rusty bubbles today uuuugh
  5. Unfortunately the Shepshed ultras are total bells. I can imagine that to be true too
  6. id hate to be your toilet at this moment in time. Incredibly, I've delivered nothing but silky sausages today, although I was expecting similar consequences Ruge
  7. I've spent all weekend drinking ale, eating cheese and Italian meat (no homo), messing with turntables, speakers and amps. I haven't done that for a long time, it's been a good weekend
  8. You just can't beat being in a crowd of a few hundred with 6 or 7 'ultras' repeatedly chanting 'red army.red army. red army'. Just stood chuckling thinking, but there are 6 of you. One of my fave grounds (Port Talbot) let's people out at half time to go to the chippy over the road. Anyway, we've just had a new 3G pitch installed. I was a little sceptical as it's caused some crazy fixture congestion (we had to play 9 consecutive away games, so no gate receipts for 3 months). This weekend, with the crazy rain there's been, we had the women's team play on it Friday evening, under 8's play a mini tournament Saturday, main event Saturday afternoon the seniors won in the Welsh Cup, today the under 19's have got a game. During the week there will be training on it ready for next weekend. Across male, female, disability and all ages we've got over 500 players on the books now. With a 3G pitch that isn't bothered by rain. I love the low level 'ultras scene' for that exact reason. We went to Shepshed away last year (near Loughborough) and the ultras had their own section, banners, flags, everything, absolutely amazing.
  9. Yes. Errrm... so, I've heard. Yes it certainly does. Try half first and I'd recommend no alcohol beforehand because you'll get a headache like a shithouse otherwise.... Errrrrm... so I've also heard
  10. And the dream is over once again, never mind boys next year
  11. Never sold on Doombar. I'll drink it, it's decent, but not a patch on something like Ubu. Gold and Mad Goose are lovely, and still way above most beers, but they're still nowhere near an Ubu for me. It's the only one I take a drink and it knocks me back each time just how nice it is. No. Really, no. Make a note of the ones on Xela's, Pompey's and my list, and look for them on your next pub visit. Please [emoji4] You generally can't go wrong with any midlands micro-brewery. Wye Valley, Purity, Enville, Bathams, Malvern Hills. All top quality stuff. Sadlers too, they have a cracking stout
  12. Seeing Football Focus being broadcast from my home town, good luck Stourbridge #RedArmy
  13. Punk IPA is a flowery do. Nice enough ale. Quite like the This Is Lager too. I've tried Punk and enjoyed it, I've also tried a few and they've been revolting, they come across (to me) as an anarchist CAMRA group, making beers out of nettles and unicorn tears but at 15% so it's ok. I wish I liked their beer more.
  14. Yep. Never, she looks like she stinks of BO and I'd never let a smelly rotter swallow my soldiers
  15. Any of you keen on Brewdog beers?
  16. What am I getting off my missus this year? Probably chlamydia [emoji20]
  17. My nan and grandad have always been fond of a beer, with grandad being a bit of a local darts superstar and nan being a Darts wag, they were always big on the Black Country social scene but they've always, even now stuck to the Monday/Tuesday no alcohol rule for the same reason. It's mad that they've got to 82 and 79 and still have those two days to 'give their body a rest'. Respect to the old uns.
  18. Cheap speaker wire and blunt wire cutters, **** hell I'm losing hair here
  19. The Chamberlain family were absolutely central to the growth of early 20th C Birmingham. Have a read of the Wikipedia article on Joseph Chamberlain (Neville's dad). Gary or Phil?
  20. Einstein Insanity quote goes here (not aimed at you either Chris, that would be a little unfair, I don't know you)
  21. I take offence to someone spending time creating a very useful looking table but not making all cells and columns the same width, animals! (Maybe for the TTPYOBS thread)
  22. I assume there is intelligence about who the backers of ISIS are and how they get their weapons and funding? To put it as simply as possible (and I understand the complexity of the situation probably isn't suited to one question), why can't we stop the financial backing and the weapons sales at source? I'm not being facetious either, it's a genuine question.
  23. On a daily basis, enough to take the edge off but never enough to eradicate my enormous sense of self-loathing and pity, built from a life of bad decisions and massive regrets leading to the present day and my slow trudging towards the end where I've achieved precisely nothing and offered little to any other soul on this grey and miserable planet. Or 2-4 units if you're after a measure.
