  1. He was our top scorer, we sold him for £15m, peanuts tbh. We have paid £19m for a player our manager has stated isn't ready for first team action. We all see what we want to see but no-one can argue we have not weakened the squad considerably, were would we be without Ings goals?
  2. They are but i won't digest it, process it, engage or encourage others to try and reason with it.

5000 cycles for lifepo4, if they are looked after , maybe more with the correct discharge and charge profiles. @sidcow the EV as storage is another game changer. There's options for storage. For me another big game changer (for the UK) is tidal power, for an island with a tidal range like we have its a golden opportunity for power generation, it just needs our government to realise it and back it's development.

The flexibility issue could be solved by local storage , batteries, I have used some lifepo4 batteries and they are a real game changer, you can charge and discharge at 1C , 200 amps (12v). So an hour to charge them and an inverter can pull upto to 200 amps from them (for an hour). I reckon my whole house could last 24 hours with 400ah off grid. Which could be charged in the middle of the night from the grid or in the day from solar (take a few hours )

Problem with electricity is storage, we can generate it but only if it's windy or sunny. We desperately need battery manufacturers in the UK.

Problem with ground source heat pumps is the amount of land required to lay the pipe out horizontally, wonder if there is any benefit in laying the pipe vertically in a deep hole that's bored out, not sure what the logistics of boring a hole out like that but it would save on the amount of land required.
  7. I'm on a forum giving my opinion on Purslow, I have no influence over Purslow's future and wish him no harm, I just don't rate him, you do. FWIW I'm not on twitter, Instagram , Spacebook or any other social media, none of my conclusions are drawn from faceless rumours most of it's in the public domain, Purslow was told to sack Gerrard and he never picked Emery as manager, is this what you think is a rumour? Rather than trying to pick apart my argument why don't you tell us what you think he has done for us , in football terms. Smith was decent, Signing Ings , Bailey and Beundia to replace Jack, visiting number 10?
  8. Purslow didn't think he needed to be sacked, not sure what you have heard about the night of the sacking but from what I have heard it wasn't 'professional' or thought out Was Purslow involved in Emery's appointment? I don't believe he was. Would you trust him to pick another manager for us, I wouldn't. The way i see it is he's been marginalized by what's happened and it's shown in his low profile ever since. Time will tell, I think he will be gone in the summer.
  9. Clue is "owner stepped in and sacked him over Purslow's head"
  10. It's not just the mistake though, he allowed Gerrard to go on making mistakes, the final straw been Fulham when the owner stepped in and sacked him over Purslow's head. Gerrard was a huge gamble that should not have been taken, it's a £200m loss with wages, you don't just carry on as you were when you make a mistake that big. Time will tell, my guess he will be gone this summer.
  11. Sacking Smith and appointing Gerrard was enough for me, should have gone once that never worked out, massive gamble and if it wasn't for our owners bailing us out it could have been alot worse. You don't employ someone to run a club and then have to step in and sort the mess out when they fail and don't have the ability, talent or nastiness to right their wrongs.
  12. Didn't he come through the academy with Grealish, both tipped to be superstars. He must regret leaving having seen Jack's rise.
  13. He's still got the power to mess things up , the sooner he goes the better.
  14. All local ones.....Evesham shocked me , Ludlow , Ledbury, Tewkesbury.......went to a festival (Lodefest) near Tewkesbury everyone looked the same, the drink drivers around there were unbelievable, like going back 50 years pissed up in the car and home, I kid you not , outrageous behaviour.
  15. Yep, his power is unatural tbh, time will tell but I have my suspicions on it.
  16. Wow, I was so wrong about Yarde, great fighter and a great fight.

Was Duran even Emery's signing or was he one from Lange system? Hasn't Emery stated that Duran isn't ready, he stats are worse than Davies's and he's from a league that Davies would be a star in . Duran is one for the future I'm sure but if Watkins gets injured then he would have to play and thats no fair on him or us.

Be worst selling Ings and not having any striker at all to replace him and ATM that's were we are, unless you can count Duran as a better option than Davies, and as it stands I don't.
  19. More tempted to have beterbiev first round , Yarde keeps his left hand far to low to go into a fight with the power beterbiev has, can't believe his been matched up with him tbh, no defense verses huge power from any angles at any distance. Wouldn't be paying to watch it either.
  20. Breaking down completely would be an issue but a diesel engine is more or less the same no matter what vehicle it is, drivetrain would be an issue though. I'm guessing the systems that are unreliable are the more specialised ones, guidance , loading etc etc.
  21. Banshees of Inisherin, wtf is that all about , nice scenery
  22. Hopefully they can be repaired and maintained outside of the Ukraine and shipped back in. Couldn't foreign mechanics /technical and training staff be on the ground inside of the Ukraine supporting the equipment, would that be a step to far, it's certainly a grey area?
  23. There's a champions League run every year, how many go to penalties after a world class save in the last seconds of the game and then the keeper saves the penalties that win it? Martinez did it in the world cup, I can't think of any world cup that a keeper has made such an impact in the final. Gordon Banks was idolised over a save in a game England lost in the.... quarter finals?

Yea think he's missed the last 2-3 games, so the same problem in that respect despite him getting game time , starts when he's fit. He's so frustrating to watch, he's got everything pace, power, quick feet he's just lacking 5% more in how clinical he could be, if he had that then he would be a cracking player, premier league. If we can't get another striker in, if we can, I would recall him as he's better than what we have after Watkins and better at holding the ball up than Archer.
