  1. I agree with most of what you're saying but JT would definitely not be the answer. He hasn't got the experience and would basically fall apart after a couple more losses. Smith can turn this around but he needs to start again and go back to basics. Let's get more in the midfield and try and stop teams playing to try and stop the losses. We can build the creative part of the game from a solid base and we have the players to come off the bench to do that late in games, at least games that we have managed to stay in.
  2. The parallels with the Leicester game and Sherwood are frightening ( no hand waving though tf) Smith's denial is the worrying factor for me , it's not going to make us better or harder to beat .
  3. I didn't get the recruitment either tbh, Ings was very strange, if we had brought a younger player I could have seen it but his age and quality was always going to force us into playing him. Bailey I can sort of get as far as a Grealish replacement but he was never going to be as good not straight away anyway.
  4. We need to find a different answer from the squad we have. Maybe it's time for a youngster to get the nod or Samson. We can't continue to not compete in games , we looked like we lacked courage to fight until the perceived injustice sparked us into life. It's not good enough.
  5. Don't think that will work tbh, I tried torque and it didn't work before I blew £60 on the software and adapter to reset my fault, where are you based?
  6. Which code reader and program did you use? I had to use bimmerlink and a specialist odb Bluetooth adapter .
  7. Just received a ticket on a hire car after parking road side in Spain, come back to ticket stuck to the screen for €100 if I pay now or €200 if I leave it for 2 weeks. Should I pay, has Brexit changed the fine systems hold over UK law, to say I'm pissed is an understatement only thr hire cars were tickets with Spanish private cars left alone.
  8. We haven't breached any agreement, have we? The issue is French fisherman have to prove historical fishing in our waters to get a permit and there is a delay in granting permits and they also have difficulty proving they have fished in our waters? Might be the press pushing this agenda as cheap click bait. A British vessel was impounded for fishing illegally in French waters, which is standard practice.
  9. Maybe, just maybe it's the realisation that this has happened will start to bring about changes to the way our political system is being run.
  10. He wouldn't have made the bench at 18 (for city) and his off field antics would have probably finished him before he had started to get near the bench.
  11. Yep, the supermarkets will just buy the cheapest they can and charge the public the same price they do now. More money for the middle men.
  12. I watched God and Yorke play as a season ticket holder ......Jack was and is a more talented player Was he more affective? Maybe but from a poorer team overall, if we had been a top 6 team (as we was with God and Yorke) with Jack in it we would have pushed for the top. What Jack did was allow us to build a team around him and then leave dropping us in the shit, he never made his mind up until the meeting with Guardiola at the restaurant. I can't forgive him for that but suppose thats a flaw in his personality we have all seen before, impulsive. Will Jack succeed? I'm not to sure about that tbh, he was God here, at city hes not and never will be. He will win more trophies but...... He will get less press exposure and won't be as revered in Manchester as he was in Birmingham, no where near. How will his ego cope with that? I wish him well ( took this long for me to be able to do that ) and hope he gets what's he's looking for but suspect he has just hit a rich vain of fools gold. UTV
  13. No, he's black, very confident (could say cocky) and vocal, a combination some people can't cope with I'm afraid.
  14. Yep it's clear to see he has no help when he trys to break forward. We may get away with playing this system once every 4 or 5 games when the opposition don't expect it but when they do expect they appear to be able to counter it and cause us problems all over the pitch. Another noticeable tatic from Arsenal was their ability to waste time, very affective in killing the game and something we should be doing in games once we are in front.
  15. Oh dear we was poor first half, Arsenal, lucky to score the penalty and the 3rd goal was a defection but they deserved the win. Need to change the system we look far to narrow. The 3 cb offer no width and that leaves the full backs covering to much ground. Feel as if we are trying to squeeze players onto the pitch to keep them happy. Ings and Watkins are a problem when they play together. Buendía plays some lovely through balls but he's to light weight for the number 10 role , needs to be on a wing. Bailey looks a right handful and should be starting , but where he fits in. We appear to have some great players but in trying to replace "he who will not be named" we seem to have forgot he played on the left. Which one of these new signings plays there?
  16. Lewis has to be odds on to retain the championship and become the most successful driver in the history of formula 1. What a driver , unbelievable really.
  17. Oh dear, a step closer to having that drip Charles as head of state, God help us all.
  18. We need to learn the dark arts, stay down when fouled and get the physio on and waste time. It's not a pretty part of the game but Spurs gave us a great example on how its done in the previous game. A typical example was Buendia going down and being dragged to his feet by Mings of all people. If Smith doesn't feel comfortable dealing with this part of the game then get some one in(to do a presentation) who can work through some.of the typical methods. As for the result .....lucky 3rd goal but we didn't help ourselves, very poor tbh, embarrassing.
  19. Our inability to kill a game or at least slow the pace of it has cost us. We need to learn and quickly. Instead we let the game turn into a ping pong ball type game with the ball bouncing around the pitch with no control at all and this allowed Wolves back into the game, the sensed our panic and started to play with purpose. Probably our worst game under Smith for me, we lost our composure completely, brings back memory's of Sherwood and the Leicester loss. Just hope the comparison ends there. UTV
  20. Just answer one question, without trying to belittle my argument by going around the farm yard , where does all the wealth of the super rich come from?
  21. Your not seeing the big picture and are basically re cycling the status quo line that enables the present situation to persist. Take economics back to basics , a worker produces goods and a consumer buys it, if wages and commodity prices arent going up but the price of goods are then where is the extra money going? I have had the good fortune to cruise the med on chartered yachts and the wealth that exists is not the small majority we all perceive. I counted 100's of private yachts all £100m plus and that was in a very small area of Greece. There's next to no footballer that could purchase 1 of these yachts and we all know the sorts of amounts they get paid. I agree on one point, we can't squeeze the rich because they just pass the added costs onto the consumer or take away the rights of the worker.
  22. Communism failed because of greedy individuals, the same type of people who are pushing capitalism to the bring of failure. But that doesn't make it right and to look for answers to our issues outside of these facts is pointless. It needs to be highlighted and pushed to the front of our agenda for change. Instead we are side stepped by smoke and mirrors, reasons why normal workers are struggling to earn a living..... immigration or lack of commodities, brexit or the EU. No it's the greed of a minority of people leaching of supply chains and or commodities so they can live a life of untold riches.
  23. Obviously some shareholders have enough shares to fund trips into space and £200m private yachts, jets, houses the list goes on and on. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realise that the rich are getting richers and the poor are getting poorer , it's an established fact. Who's makes the money for the rich? Workers and consumers, Or someone or something else ?
