"Taker zat, Mr Gwegowee!"
-
I think if we're playing a high intensity, pressing style without the ball then we'll have good options switching players in and out rather than completely burning them out like Bielsa.
-
He's definitely better playing further advanced up the field, same as Hourihane.
-
I'm what way? It looks like he played mainly full seasons at Genoa apart from one. It doesn't read like he's out injured for large periods every season.

The speed in which he comes deep, lays the ball off and then gallops into the box ready for a cross is phenomenal. It doesn't look like he's sprinting but each stride covers so much ground. Skip to 36:00 for a perfect example. As a result, he won a penalty and got himself another goal. Absolute class. Scary to think he's only 22.

No chance, it was just a well placed shot in the top corner. Deflection or no deflection, it wasn't a case of being beaten too easy at all in my eyes. Skip to 38:10

Green having his moment of genius before going back to normal again. Such a frustrating player!

The poor git wasted 2 years with of his career with that tripe. Glad to see they didn't break him. Just completely misuse him.

Exactly. This is very positive. When teams target him in the league, they'll not be expecting the rest of our players to be just as damaging.

Jota will take some displacing if he carries on like this. Great to see everybody has to be on it to keep their shirt.

What a class goal. The movement, understanding and quickness moving the ball about is very impressive so early on.

He said we've put an actual bid in for him. Rigo hasn't acted like some ItK on anything else. He doesn't come across as an attention whore like the usual ones who act like they have knowledge on loads of deals. The fact he's only strong on this one player adds a bit of credibility to me. I just don't see why he'd lie. I'd guess he was a bit defensive about the thread being merged because he believes in his source but the only stuff out there isn't from places deemed credible. He could be making it all up for a laugh but I don't get that vibe since he hasn't acted like he knows anything else.

I think once we've wrapped up our signings, a few will move on, Bjarnason included. Until we have them secured though it's best to keep them around, just incase we have to go into the season with them, as opposed to being short on cover.

Spongebob to put out the cones now that Smith has proven capable of being kit washer.

I reckon he's there to drop off Villa shirts and merch for Wesley's family before coming back to Birmingham and signing. It all fits.

With them having the same sponsor on both they do just all blend as one these days. The only real difference is the price looking from afar.

It's what you do with it that counts, not the size. Oh, you said knock..

Maybe they meant a tortoise on a small mound of Carolina Reaper powder.

Yes, I read that post too but it's hardly a majority opinion of his highlights. A good number of people can see attributes that look applicable to the Prem. Pace, power, directness along with a bit of quick feet and thinking too. The guy watched 4 full games and gave a decent overview of his thoughts. This forum is full of coherent, intelligent posters who can read a few paragraphs. Discussion is encouraged on here rather than a TLDR attitude that's seen elsewhere. If you're worried about replying to longer posts going over some posters heads then you can always cut the point you want to address or put it in bold so it's relevant. I just didn't think a line about him diving in highlights of an AFCON game held as much heft as the overview of someone who watched all full games of his in the AFCON. Incidentally, one thing that did show up on his domestic season highlights was that he actually tried to stay on his feet a lot when he could have gone to ground for an easy free kick.
