  1. BB will struggle to make the bench. The guy's got energy but a lack of quality on the ball whether he has no time on the ball or all the time in the world. He's not going to suddenly turn good now we've moved a league higher. He'll get a few games maybe in the league cup if he's lucky. He can enjoy the Prem for a season as a fringe player or move on if he's wanting more games.
  2. This deal is good for FFP. It's effectively a free/money making player if City take him back as the fee will wipe out what we paid, plus cover his wages. If City don't want him back then £15m isn't a huge amount for a player with his hype and potential sell on elsewhere, if we don't want him. It could allow us to go for someone like Santamaria or Rongier as an alternative instead of Phillips. An exciting move regardless of whatever else we may or may not do in the DM position.
  3. I wonder when Belgian will be an optional language in their educational system?
  4. The price for kids stuff is ridiculous. I'm glad I don't have any at the moment!
  5. How about Alex McCleish to make the fry-ups?
  6. I don't think the Man City website is a very reliable source.
  7. BBC are saying around £7m. Pants remain above the knees, ankles unthreatened.
  8. He does seem to have a good engine.

I heard he's 4" longer in the showers too.
  11. If we're scouting Copenhagen then hopefully we're in for Robert Skov.
  12. Booked in for speech classes 11am Friday to remove "reet" from his vocabulary.
  13. Heard he's had his Leeds badge tattoo lazered off last night too. It's all piling up.
  14. Next year we'll be leap-frogging and slam-dunking our offers home.
  15. You also have to factor in FFP. After 3 years the FFP thing refreshes I think. In that time, Heaton could have served his purpose and then we're in a place to bring in someone potentially better and younger than Butland will be then with no liabilities. If we didn't have so much business to do then I would go for Butland but we still need to bring in multiple players who are going to be starters. They aren't going to come cheap.
  16. Yes, because there's a chance to possibly upgrade on what we have. That doesn't therefore mean that Steer isn't able to hold his own at this level. There's a difference. Even under the other managers, when he's actually managed to get a game, he's looked fine.
  17. Yet the manager who actually got us promotion back to the PL deemed him good enough ahead of multiple others. I think we should always look to improve what we have but Steer has shown what he can do, with room to progress further. Heaton is an upgrade for me but that isn't to say that Steer can't do a job in the PL. Being omitted from the starting line up by managers who have failed here isn't something to use against him.
  18. It's debateble how many teams are on par with Southampton, Palace, Bournemouth, Newcastle. They have some really good players. Heaton had to face Man Utd, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool (2 Champions League finalists let's not forget), Man City, Arsenal and the likes of Watford, Everton, Bournemouth and Leicester who are good for a goal. I'm not saying Heaton's brilliant but he's more than good enough for the next season or 2 and 27 conceded in 19 against some of the World's best attackers is good going.
