    Just read his resignation letter. Scathing. No mention of anything Boris has done that he considers to be good work, and a fairly terse mention of Brexit.

    Yep. Most reasonable people know that the EU isn't perfect and that there are many things that could be improved. And many people were fully aware that this government were totally incapable of devising a Brexit that could in any way work even remotely successfully. And that is why on balance it was clear that remaining in an imperfect union was always better than the alternative.

    Exactly. It drives me mad. I really want house prices to go back to, say, 2016 levels or so. Even then they were too expensive but compared to now....

    A few days back, there was a story floating about that the government wanted to encourage businesses to lower prices i stead of spending on, say, marketing. How would they do this? By rewarding companies that lowered their prices with Kudos accreditation. So, basically, some kind of gold star sticker. I applaud their blue-sky out-of-box thinking, and expect this to be a huge success with businesses falling all over themselves in the clamour for Kudos points. Aha!     I think this race demonstrates just how rubbish all these slow narrow street circuits really are. We need fast, wide, proper racing tracks otherwise we won't see racing of this kind any more.
