Are you actually ready for a relationship? Theres a difference between wanting/ needing to be in a relationship but not being mentally/ emotionally ready. I dont know you or your past so am only going on what you've typed. Maybe you need to process previous relationships a little more? And work out where you are at? I guess because it's a lot easier to date these days we do it because we can without being ready. Or it could be that you haven't actually met "the one" yet.

Been supporting Villa since the late 80's and my apathy for the club I love grew once Lambert came on board and we seemingly lost every week. Finally we got relegated which we fully deserved. My belief grew again and - I admit - i enjoyed the championship- not the same old "Chelsea's, United's etc" and we were a force again, a club to be respected and feared. But guess what we are there again Villa the gift that keeps kicking you in the guts just when you start to believe. Now it's found a new way of doing it. Unearth a genuine, potentially amazing talent, Villa through and through and sell him not because he wants to go or because we have an offer too good to turn down which can be invested in strengthening the team. No, because once again we haven't learnt, we effed up. Thanks Villa and more importantly thanks Xia for not giving a crap about us fans who sweat blood for this club.

If Jack goes I'll be gutted. It's not just about the sale but the reasoning behind it. It's incredible how far we have fallen. Despite of that I hope he reaches his potential as he's villa through and through.

Have to agree with this. Its a fine line between success and failure but you also have to think about what you have to lose as well as win.

So I'm taking a deep breath and a break. My son is really getting into football so we are going to watch the world cup and enjoy it. Hopefully with England doing us proud (ha!) My sons 7 so will be no doubt supporting the team that wins and the coolest players. I like that philosophy at the moment. Enjoyment. I'll always be Villa. Thought it would be hell in the championship but I've enjoyed it. Moreso than a couple of seasons ago when we lost 8-0 to Chelsea followed by 4-0 to Tottenham over Christmas and if I'm being honest the thought of that happening again should we have been promoted was on my mind. Whatever crap is going on at the moment will still happen and be resolved so I'm not going to worry. Of course I hope we come out of this stronger as we all deserve it. We are a giant! UTV. VTID.
