The idea that Lyon and Aston Villa compete with each other is farcical. I get your jist though, same industry. Usually the greater the geographical distance the less likely a non-compete is enforceable. The fact we're not in the same competitions also helps. Then again, I'm not a French employment law expert... but that's two things that would be considered if it was over here.

I imagine because Bayern wouldn't have wanted the buyback and he's already stated he wants to return to Barcelona. (speculation, of course). Nice to read though.

Thin the only reason he would be is as Hutton played 120 mins on Tuesday. Suppose he (Hutton) is no less likely to play than Sinclair though. Either way, options

Is it too early in the season to call it a must-win? Is a must-not-lose more accurate? I imagine the fist seven on the team sheet will be: Guzan Bacuna Richards Clark Amavi Gana Westwood After that who knows? Veretout, Grealish, Sinclair all played 120 mins yesterday and I would play them all again if they were fit and able. Same with Gil although I imagine as he was returning from injury last night he won't be risked as hastily. We also need a bit more balance in midfield. Presuming Adama will be out via injury. Gestede in the middle up top. Please just leave Gabby on the bench!

Really enjoyed that game. Thought Richardson and Sanchez were good at the back. Veretout grew into the game. Grealish and Gil were great. Adama is a beast, hope he's ok. Joe Cole was also excellent when he came on (aside for the blocking a goal which I forgive him for). Jury is still out on Ayew. Yes they scored three but the deflection was wicked and Burkes goal was a worldie. Don't think I've ever clapped an opponent scoring but I did for that. Lastly, what does Sinclair have to do to get in the team ahead of Gabby on Saturday?! -
