Di Matteo was sacked for 1 win in 11 games (or 10 points from 11 games). Bruce is now 8 games without a win (1 win in 9) (or 5 points from 9 games). I think if we fail to win one of the next two (bearing in mind we have Newcastle away next still!) I think he has to go. Criminal given the amount we've spent in January.

Huddersfield are 3rd. Why on earth would he leave them to come to this absolute shower? Regarding the game... first 20 minutes we were great BUT too many misplaced passes, poor first touches. Once we went behind, Adomah and Grealish were shocking and Bruce's choice of subs were baffling. Lansbury IMO was our best player on the pitch. Johnstone still fills me with no confidence whatsoever.

If Dyche gets the gig I honestly don't know what we are playing at. Basically a Bruce we have to pay compensation for. I have no confidence that his ceiling is any better than Bruce when (if) we get back to the Premier League.

I've seen nothing to suggest that Dyche is an upper mid table option personally. Get Brue with the aim of getting promoted this season (but give him next season if we just miss out given our shocking start). If/when we get to the Premier League you have to give him the tools to at least see where he can get us. It would be nice to have a manger for more than half a season, personally.
