  1. Well I wouldn't be going to work next week
  2. Had a dream last night that we won, well we were winning. I checked the game and we were 2-0 up, Lansbury scored the second. It'll probably come true, then we'll concede 3 at the end :/
  3. Look, I think everyone on here knows I've been a Bruce supporter from the very beginning, I was certain he'd take us up. I think even I can't argue that he has to go. I believe none of us can argue against the fact it isn't working. He still doesn't know what formation he wants to play or what 11 he wants to put out. It screams of a manager who doesn't know what to do. It's a shame as he's a decent manager and a good guy, but the Dr has to pull the trigger while there's still time to go up. Managers would shit themselves to have a squad like ours in this league.
  4. It means there are too many new posts for the current page. The first option just shows you the first unread post. The second takes you to the next page with all of the unread posts.
  5. Makes sense to have Elmohamady playing against Adama with his pace but who knows. Gestede is apparently injured so hopefully no vengeance goals from him. If we play defensive in this game then we'll be two down by half time. In Lanzarote at the minute and heard a rumour that's there's a bar with the game on so hopefully can watch it.
  6. I don't think West Ham need a Right Back, they've just signed Zabaletta.

    Keinan Davis

Also, Hogan for me has been very unfortunate. He makes a lot of intelligent runs but has only had hoof balls to work with. He's not that tall a player to start with, let alone the fact that he's just not that type of striker. Play some decent through balls and he'll score plenty. Davis really was excellent today though, and I'd like to see the pair of them together at some point so long as the attacking football persists.
  8. I'm sure all we've done is use up the goals for the next game
  9. Pardew does wonders for a team for one season, then appears to turn to shit. Maybe offer him a deal till the summer?
  10. 2-0 Villa, Terry and Hogan, nervy last 10 minutes.
  11. I'm guessing it's a sum that they can get away with. The incident I was talking about was apparently a ridiculous amount more than it should have been. Either way, I suppose we could fiddle a bit more money through using the dr's connections as sponsors. So long as it's not an amount that would raise too many questions such as PSG.
  12. I believe they can intervene if sponsors pay what is deemed to be over the odds. I'm sure there was a case with PSG a while back where their sponsorship deal was paying them way more than it was worth. The deal was then looked over in court and lowered to what was deemed an acceptable amount of money compared to other clubs the same standing as themselves were being payed. It's to stop companies linked to the club/owners from pumping millions in through sponsorships to avoid FFP.
  13. By that logic, there are about 7 players we need to replace before the Hull game. Bruce needs to get his skates on, let's hope the Dr is willing to get the chequebook out.
  14. So unless players come in and click straight away then we should assume they won't and it's a gamble to play them? We'll certainly go through some money thinking like that. Half a season to come good or they should not be risked? That's a touch harsh don't you think?
  15. It should be a surprise due to the fact he's looked like a natural goal scorer until he joined us, and still showed glimpses of it during his time here. He was either injured or carrying an injury last season so I'm not passing judgement on him yet until he's had a full season. I think judging players too quickly is one thing our fans do too much.
  16. Anything less than 10 for Hogan will mean he has drastically underachieved, and whilst I can't see Hourihane getting more than 5 it's certainly not outside the realms of possibility.
  17. After what I said about him being our best option at no 10, I think now Grealish is out for a while we'd be stupid to get rid of him. I thought Grealish had the potential to make that position his own if Bruce wanted him there but now he's out for 2-3 months. I don't see who else in the squad other that Ross is capable of slotting in.
  18. It does seem strange, I imagine there must be more to it. It's a shame, even at his age he's quite a talent.
