  1. Do you know about any players that I'm not aware of that should have made that team?

    Arsenal

Funny thing is that if Real asked for £80m Arsenal would have paid it.
  3. How about we don't decide how much a private business decides to pay it's employees, but instead hold the business accountable when they are £100miliions in debt? Want to pay Pogba £250k a week? Fine, but if you are running out of money you go bust - just like shops, IT businesses, Restaurants and any other enterprise. I'm a sole trader business - I can't spend over my means otherwise they take my house away.
  4. Agent fees in millions of £ is not the problem. Heck, paying Bale £400k a week is not a problem. These are independent choices of a business and frankly if I opened a pub and some idiot pays me £20 for a Carling, well, he is an idiot. What is a problem is when you pay these sums when you can't afford it - much like the big 6 (along with many others) have been doing for years.
  5. I just read that Real are due to pay Alaba a 20m signing on bonus, along with paying him 12m Euros for the next 5 seasons. What did you say the problem was Mr Perez?
  6. He is a good (young) player, but as I said in the match thread, yesterday showed exactly why we shouldn't worry about Man City using that buy back clause.
  7. He does, but in countries like Poland where I grew up in the 90s, you had Liverpool and man u posters on the wall, and when playing FIFA you wanted the best players and wanted to score like Roberto Carlos. Everyone had fake Zidane and Batistuta shirts. I understand what he is saying. It was all about the big teams and I can only assume some people around the world (especially in lesser football countries) still think that way. But f*** him - the above does not give him a right to destroy football for the English, German, Spanish or Italians.
  8. When I heard about the SuperLeague and hear Man City were up for it, I thought - yeah, Man City or Bayern are different gravy. But then I heard about Spurs, Arsenal or Plop
  9. This game is showing why Man City will be in no rush to buy back Luiz.
  10. I think Ramsey plays the "run around, leave the lungs on that pitch and put pressure on them" role.
  11. It's been several times now that I have heard a criticism of the SuperLeague on the basis of not including or fully mentioning their intent for the Women version of the tournament. I don't remember who it was, but one time it was by an ex player. Now, I am all for equality - but why the hell would you want to drag the good name of the women's game in this shit show. If I was a female football activist, I wouldn't be talking about a lack of inclusion - I'd be laughing at these idiot men who can't do anything properly and have put their clubs name in shame. Why the hell would you want to have the Women's league anywhere near this coup?
  12. I don't believe this, surely not.
  13. Well, except for Spurs and Arsenal - they won't get European football anyway, so give them a transfer ban along with others.
  14. Let Roma v Villareal be the Europa final, and PSG to be confirmed CL winners. After that, ban the 6 from European competitions next year. I don't think points deductions will happen, but that should be enough.
  15. So with spurs out, is Perez the Bananaman now?
  16. Well, the club needs to be punished. But that will trickle down on players. No European football next season? Less money and prestige for players. Points deducted? Less chance of winning anything. If anything, players should be made aware that if they join a rotten business they might face consequences, so I'd think twice before accepting 100k from Man U rather than 70k from Everton.
  17. An official what partner?
  18. I wonder how that will work for their bottom lines.
  19. I'm sure Perez will be happy, after all it will create more excitement
  20. If I read this joke one more time I'm #forsuperleague
  21. To be fair, it almost always gonna be an English team.
  22. Maybe Perez can sell the rights to Netflix to make up for the lost revenue.
  23. It doesn't affect them, because you can promote clubs from league one, from league one to league 2 etc
