Totally agree with this. He is busy and has a good short passing game. But not what we need right now.

For me - he doesn't have 360 degree orientation- which you need to play centrally. Wide right in front of Hutton he could play.

Again- he is being asked to do stuff he isn't good at. 1. Playing with his back to goal ( he isn't Heskey ) 2. Dropping down short receiving the ball to feet. ( he is not Hazard/ Messi) I think Gabby played his best football in a 442 beside Carew as a poacher. He can play wide but doesn't track back well, and costs the odd goal or two if the opposing full back gets forward.

For me Bacuna has to play - He scores goals with both feet He puts in a decent cross with both feet He has good pace, strength He is a good defender and attacker - he can go past a player Scores free kicks Though sometimes he looks green, therefore needs a run of games. I'd play him in front of Hutton and see if they can strike a good defensive and attacking partnership.

The way we were set up yesterday meant we were relying on Cleverley to create/ score. It isn't going to happen. He is a busy/ honest player who keeps things ticking over. A squad player at best.

We are asking Ally to do things he is not good at. Like take players on all the time. He would play so much better if he had a wide midfielder in front of him. Having said that he isn't a top quality combination player. His main attribute is his strength and height in my opinion. Making him defensively sound. Though he does occasionally switch off while defending, and get wrong side of the winger.

He is definitely a good passer of the ball. I'm not so sure about his defending which is lightweight. And he doesn't go past many players. In my opinion he is a decent premiership player. Who is benefitting from a long run in the side.

This would be my starting Line up: ----------------------guzan------------------------- Hutton--------Okore------Clark------------Ally -----------Westwood-----Sanchez------------- Bacuna------------grealish--------------Gabby ----------------------Benteke---------------------- 1. this team would be defensively sound and good at counter attacking 2. Bacuna and Hutton together are good defensively but I feel they could combine and get decent balls into the box. 3. Grealish would have minimal defensive duties and could concentrate on attacking 4. The idea of Hutton and Ally being our wide players is not working, they need help. 5. I don't want three/ four central midfielders doing the same thing. I believe Westwood/Sanchez could develop a good partnership, with an attacking player in front of them. 6. I hate the idea of not having any width when we have Benteke in the side. It don't make sense to me. Gabby is able to go to by line and cut in. 7. This team could play back to front quickly, counter attack, or keep ball - it's flexible. 8. Bacuna on set pieces. I reckon we'd finish 9/10 if we could keep eleven players on the pitch

That really is a poor team- Westwood, Sanchez, Cleverley why all three ?

I'll go crazy if none of our next gen winning team make the grade, while we watch a team that can't score a goal each week.

Just seen a tackle from Stambouli (spurs) on Mata. Far worse than Delph's tackle. Only gave a yellow and not even a free kick. Studs high to the knee. No way should Delph have got red.

if we did play 442. I think we might see a drop in the performances of Hutton and Cissokho who seem to enjoy the space they are getting right now. We need to replace our attacking players who are all about pace ad strength and get some better players.

I wouldn't. It would be a waste of money to have a loan striker sit on the bench. Weimann on the bench is fine by me. Use the money to get decent wide players with some creativity and vision.
