    Borriello has been good when given a chance and he has a knack of scoring goals. Not the best, but not a poor excuse. I am in total agreement with the Pato debate though. I don't get the hype, he just frustrates me most of the time when I watch Milan but for the fact he has a very good scoring record.

    £20 million. Lets get real here. Even if this is an attractive offer for a Aston Villa we must play this smartly. Manchester City have the footballing worlds largest disposable income. I don't want James Milner to leave and football makes me very angry with all of this money floating about but we must stick to the task of milking Man City for every penny they are willing to pay.     Good effort for me, disagree with a lot of the rubbish being posted on here. Carlos Cuellar has been excellent today, up there with some of Dunne's performances earlier on in the season.

    We can do this, City look absolutely shocking at the back we just need to find some tempo and get at them. We have nothing to lose here really so we should get at them. Carew is a step ahead of Toure and we look threatening whenever we go forward more so than City I would say. Come on Villa lets have a bloody good go at this.

    Collins was brilliant tonight but I'd give MOTM to Downing for a much improved performance. Looked very comfortable tonight without breaking sweat. Result!

    Hopefully we can win this one, if anything just to keep the pressure on those above and around us. 2-1 to Villa, I can see Agbonlahor scoring tonight with an opener from James Collins. Come on Villa!!

    I can be romantic but I wouldn't say it was a succesful strategy. Although it's not how it should be, I think treating women mean generally keeps them keen. I have no idea why but from personal experience it works.

    I totally agree and add the fans to that also. Having had to listen to Evertonians and Liverpudlians all of my life I'm glad I wasn't brought up to support either Merseyside team although when at school I hated a Monday morning if Villa had been beaten because you could guarantee the 'nothing to shout about' Evertonian friends of mine would be in your ear all day. Pain in the ashen holen.

    A good perfomance which on another day could have been different. As games go on we are just looking incredibly jaded. As much as I admire Petrovs effort the man was absolutely knackered out there. I thought Mike Dean had a shocking game also. Delfouneso should be playing more. Looked more than comfortable tonight at that level of football.
