  1. I think people are either overthinking it or worrying too much, I get it. I’m however incredibly relaxed about today and tomorrow. We can get a result today. I’m fully confident City will steamroll Spurs regardless of today.
  2. As much as I love the round badge, from a branding perspective, I can see why they went with the shield again.
  3. This is what frustrates me the most. He shouldn’t be on the road. He’s shown multiple times that he can’t stick to legal speed. He has the money to hire someone. The punishments aren’t sufficiently stopping this.
  4. Print this off and stick it on the whiteboard in the dressing room tonight. Big motivation
  5. Counterpoint: enjoy the sun and stop overanalysing other the motivations of other teams
  6. He's made 31 league appearances registering over 1,500 minutes. He only missed a few games in December.
  7. We aren’t letting Rory leave. I imagine it’s just part of the negotiating process.

They have big financial issues. They won’t be spending big. They really can’t afford to with FFP compliance. All they can do is trade what they what have. Second biggest wages in the league and no Europe again puts them in a difficult position.
  9. Wild stat for Napoli after winning the league last year
  10. He had just discovered what apocalypse meant so he had to hit the deck out of fear

Struggling to beat Forest isn't a sign of anything. Without Europe they are going to struggle to keep their billion-pound squad happy. Palmer isn't going to get 9 penalties next season.
  12. “Our dream is as we said a few weeks ago when [Arsenal] lost against Aston Villa was to arrive in the last games with it in our hands, to play West Ham at home with the destiny belonging to us.” Pep wants this wrapped up before the final game. He wants to win against Spurs. Any other answer is ignoring this.
  13. The traditional claret and blues look great
  14. Like the 85-90-minute performances where he got goals or assists against Wolves, Bournemouth, Luton, Burnley and Palace. I really don't know what you are claiming to have been watching to make such claims. The team is the sum of its best parts. Not every player will always perform to their best for 90 minutes weekly. He's playing two different roles and learning from Unai's expertise. But his contributions have helped us win games. You can't deny that. Even when he's not scored or gotten an assist, when he's on it, he's very difficult to play against. It was 35m euros with add-ons. Even if we paid £45m, he's done more than players signed by other clubs for less. You're welcome to criticise his errors and when he's maybe underperforming. But this is the sort of scapegoating, unhelpful language that helps nobody. Is it not more conducive to offer some support and praise the good? Criticise the flaws. Writing off players like this is just toxic. Unai values him.
  15. We had a great league record against Brighton and still lost. Spurs's record at home against them means nothing. Pep is determined to win the league.
  16. We had a fantastic record in the Prem against Brighton and lost. It happens. It really means little when the whistle blows. Try not to worry.
  17. That logic cuts both ways though: it’s not outlandish either to suggest that we could get at least a point against Liverpool.
  18. I think had Burnley tried a little harder they could have gotten something had they pushed more in the second half. Pathetic showing from them when staring down relegation.
  19. Wild to me how some people are investing so much time into arguing that Spurs will get points against City whilst dismissing the possibility of that we won’t pick up any. Baffling.
