  1. High-line defence and lots of possession based attacking flow. But also a recipe for leaking goals and turnovers in possession.
  2. Betting markets have no real influence. Let people waste their money.
  3. He’s not trying to play the ball at all
  4. This was a deliberate attempt to injure him. Leon already knocked the ball away from him and he waited to target his knee.
  5. Delibately waits to target Leon's knee. No intent to play the ball. Deserved booking. Perhaps more. This was malicious.
  6. I thought the way one of their players slowed down to deliberately target his knee warranted more than a yellow. It was disgusting. Leon looks a lot stronger this season to his credit
  7. When you dribble your toothpaste down your shirt without realising
  8. Agreed. I just wish some would resist saying silly things like we won’t score again this season. We simply don’t know. Unai has proven time and time again how to bounce back from a defeat. Despite the defeat, I saw more effort than against Brighton for the most part. People are free to disagree, but I’m confident that we can do something with the games remaining.
  9. Fatigue is a big issue. He’s played over 4,000 minutes this season. However, getting some of the basics wrong is a concern no matter how fatigue factors in.
  10. The TNT footage exluded the VAR review btw. The game was lost but we should not accept the lack of scrutiny into decisions either.
  11. Given that some have more faith in Spurs getting points and that we won’t is just as bizarre. People are inventing scenarios to get mad about. It’s baffling.
  12. Irrelevant. There should be more scrutiny. It didn’t look conclusive to overturn the offside call.
  13. Scenes when we bounce back and get at point against Liverpool
  14. Still frustrated by the lack of scrutiny or clips of the offside. The only replay shown just isn’t clear.
  15. This will be a great learning curve for European football next season
  16. Checking the stats, he's played over 4,000 minutes for us this season in 50 appearances. Only Ezri's made more minutes on the pitch.
  17. Just for the visual effect Diaby 51 appearances, Leon, McGinn, Dougie and Ollie 50 appearances, Ezri 47 appearances, Dibu 45 appearances (same for Matty and Youri). Digne's made 43 appearances. The numbers are staggering when you consider the injuries just how many the core squad has competed in.
  18. The very loud minority who love to post overtly negative stuff in the match threads seem to revel a little too much in a loss and poor performance. It's not even constructive most of the time.
  19. He's a great, effective ball carrying centre back and very reliable in one-v-one scenarios. The systems, however, meant he's either playing a hybrid role and too exposed at right back. I think with with better options at full back, we see him at his preferred position.
  20. He doesn't close the initial ball over the top, gets himself in a pickle and shouldn't allow the cross. Digne's at LWB, the goal of marking falls on the CBs there. He's too advanced to get back anyways. There's a lot of errors individually across the park, including Cash giving the ball away in the build up creating the space for the ball over the top to begin with. On a different day, Pau blocks the cross.
  21. Don't spoil the narrative now. We are done remember. Impossible for us to score or get anymore points. Not like it's been a record-breaking season or anything.
  22. Despite their best efforts to injure him, can't fault the effort tonight.
  23. As good as he is, he still makes mistakes, cost us some goals tonight. Where's the criticism?
  24. So his goals and assists mean nothing? You can't have it both ways
