  1. Unai sees some qualities in him, he’s well liked within the team. But has fundamental flaws to his game. Hence why he’s second string to the best in the world. He doesn’t complain. Gets on with things. The reality is also, when he joined we were in a very different position under different management style. He’s a product of circumstance. But not near good enough for us at this current juncture. It’s very hard to find talent willing to sit on the bench for 95% of the season. That’s just the reality, especially as we develop younger talent to step up. But that’s not an overnight thing either. Has he cost us goals? Absolutely, and also, our defensive lapses cost us, but also many choose to put all the blame on him. Keeper errors do happen, but sometimes we concede poor goals as a condition of poor defensive work. It’s not always down to one man all the time. A vocal minority might type stupid stuff in the heat of the moment and we should praise the good moments and criticise the bad. I just hope Robin can show us some of his qualities on Sunday and help us get a result.
  2. Are Brighton also killing football for having a partnership with USG in Belgium?
  3. As funny as their relegation is, just don’t think about them beyond a good hearty chuckle. Enjoy the obscurity even more in League One.
  4. We have a fantastic record against Brighton. Liverpool maintain a fantastic home record. Neither game is a certainty. We know the variables in football mean the above doesn’t always count. But despite giving away some silly goals, we did show fight in a freakish game. I remain confident in us getting a result tomorrow. Regardless of what Spurs do. It’s been in our hands for most of the season and nothing changes tomorrow. Yes, we miss critical players, feel the tiredness of the extra fixtures, but Unai will keep demanding. We are an excellent footballing side - one that is also capable of mistakes and losing games - but the lessons we will learn from it will carry into next season with improvements and new recruits to help us keep growing. It doesn’t erase the frustrations, but recognises that the speed of our growth is still remarkable. Especially with losing key players across positions at critical times of the season.
  5. City’s model damaging Troyes in France - their biggest signing Savio never actually played for them despite being a record signing - loaned to PSV and then has massive success with Girona (of the City group) before eventually landing at City
  6. They’ve gone full FIFA create a custom team route
  7. We have a fantastic record against them. We can absolutely maintain that.
  8. Still love Dougie. I don’t want him to leave. Right to be criticised last night, just needs that fire under him for Brighton. We win as a team, lose as a team. Everyone makes mistakes.
  9. I can of no better season in my lifetime. I might be in my 30s still, but it’s never been a more exciting time to be a fan of us. There’s still so much to look forward to.
  10. Clement did nothing wrong in the build up for the disallowed goal. It was a 50/50 shirt and the defender threw himself to the ground. It was a crap call by the ref.
  11. He’s too lightweight for me at times. I do like his passing though.
  12. I appreciate the correction I can only base it on what I saw on screen but I’m always happy to be corrected Agree still. It’s so frustrating that experienced top level players still make such basic errors
  13. We needed him to step up, especially with Pau out. He’s just as capable for some of the goals. He’s experienced enough to be less passive and I don’t accept that it’s all on Olsen - he’s been hot and cold for weeks
  14. I agree with that. It wasn’t a corner but he to was trying to be too clever marshalling the ball. He also doesn’t close down quick enough either.
  15. He will turn it around, but he made some crucial errors today and that should be criticised.
  16. Not a right back but a handy option in attack. We can’t afford to not have quality competition next season.
  17. Needs to learn how to hold the line.
  18. The penalty cost us the match. Worst time to do it and totally unnecessary. We had started the half with real fight. Terrible penalty also. No excuses tonight for him.
  19. It’s been a long hard season with injuries and the lads look defeated today. Need to bounce back against Brighton.
  20. Pathetic pen. If you’re not up for it let someone else take it.
  21. It’s not good enough when the defence are too standoffish or play them offside or simply make basic errors. It’s normally just the keepers mistakes tonight. Too many players getting the basics wrong.
  22. Still annoyed about Bailey's goal being ruled out. Set the tone.
  23. Wasn’t a corner. But I would on question what Dougie is doing. Very soft. The rules stink but he shouldn’t be doing that.
