Well, after a couple of months im single again no more nurses for me from now on, there all **** mental

I was thinking earlier does this topic need a title change? Maybe 'Things that piss you off and things that shouldn't, but do'?

**** Banks! **** Websites! **** PayPal! Grrrrrrrrrr!!!! Paid for a phone last night using paypal, had an email from the website this morning saying they dont accept paypal and I would need to arrange a bank transfer, they also said they had refunded my money to PayPal. No problem I thought. Arranged the bank transfer no problems. Should go through by the end of the day which is annoying as it means I have to wait for my phone to be dispatched a little bit longer. Checked my paypal account and it had said the payment had been completed. Rang them to see how long a refund takes and they said they hadnt received a refund notification from the phone website. So I rang the phone website who said they had sent it but it may take 48 hours to be completed. I am now 400 quid out of pocket as both the paypal transfer AND bank transfer (800 **** quid) have been taken out of my account. I may have to wait days to get that other 400 quid back and my order has also been delayed now so will have to wait longer for my phone to arrive. I am also now paranoid that my order status is still 'awaiting payment' so have got to hope it goes through okay today but knowing my luck it will be a few days or something. FTW

Is it the one that opens from the side and clips on in place of the battery cover or the one that opens down from the front with the silver bezel on the front?

I hope so! I keep watching videos of it, the red one looks like the villa claret. Are there any really good pouches or thin flip covers for it? Saw the official samsung flip cover but its not recommended by a lot of people as its quite poor quality. I'm not a big fan of clip on rubber/plastic cases as they always seem to detract from the beauty of the design and add unnecessary bulk.

After all the posturing over the One X i just have gone an ordered an S3. Thanks for the tip off on expansys Conor , could have got it cheaper second hand but you always take a risk with that route. My brother lent me a few extra quid to tide me over until payment for the nexus comes through. Its the dark red/claret one with the red lights on, looks sleek as ****. Cant wait.

Yeah I think i'm definitely going to get it on friday, only real negatives I can see are the story isn't anything ground breaking and there is no new game plus to replay all the levels with all the unlocked skills and whatnot. Some of the controls are supposed to be a bit fiddly as well but its all minor gripes and the pro's vastly outweigh the cons. Cant wait for it now. Edge have given it a 9/10, IGN a 9.2, Eurogamer an 8/10

Advice needed as im an incompetent marketplace noob Im selling an item that ive stuck on amazon, its just been ordered and i have just printed off the 'packing slip' and now what? Just take it down to the post office? Is it a case of buying appropriate packaging, whacking the slip in with the item and sending it by recorded delivery to the address on the slip?

Id love to wait but I really wont be able to afford the brand spanking new wave of phones though, literally my budget WILL top out at £400 due to christmas coming up and other stuff I have to pay for. I appreciate all that but I have no idea how to do any of that and knowing my luck with technology it would go pear shaped and the phone would be useless. I dont know what it is but sometimes you just dont click with a phone for whatever reason, it doesnt do anything badly, like I said its a great phone and yes my only gripes with it are pretty much the screen issues and how it feels in the hand but also, its just a bit boring. I really do appreciate the advice that you have given before purchasing it and after once ive had it but im just not clicking with it.

I really am tempted by the 920 but there is something I really adore about htc phones, I think it goes back to owning the original Desire and how it served me so well (still does tbh, as it was still great during the week I waited for the nexus to arrive). I think my budget will be £400 though so that may price me out of both the One X+ and the 920 so thats why im thinking One X

AVFCForever, how have you found the One X now you have had it for a little while? Any problems? White or black/grey? Also, is there a shorter name I can refer to you by?

Did not realise that was out this week, been keeping an eye on it and i have loved what i have seen of it but ill wait to see what the reviews are saying first. We (as do all message boards) have our own trolls Wiz that can sometimes avoid getting caught out by explaining everything away with what appears to be quite rational reasons or coming up with whatever excuse suits at the time but lets be honest we all know a troll when we see one.

I know a few of you will scoff at this decision but i am selling my Galaxy Nexus It is a bloody great phone and I don't regret purchasing it at all, its much better than my old 4s and probably one of the best phones you can currently get pound for pound but i am just not clicking with it for whatever reason. A minor niggle is that it feels quite cheap in the hand despite being probably Samsung's most robust phone thus far. The biggest problem for me though is the screen, resolution and clarity is absolutely fantastic BUT what is the point of giving it a 4.65 inch screen and then limiting it by having a black info bar type band across the top and a massive black band at the bottom that has the 'home' touch buttons on it (which annoys me as the bezel beneath the screen is plenty big enough to house those buttons). It comes across as constrained, that screen would be **** glorious if fully opened up. I think i am going to get the controversial One X+ if the price isnt too high or the new Nokia, if prices are too high ill go for the One X. If anyone wants the GNex drop me a PM.

Yeah just double checked and it only changes the colour of the left and right sides of the edge of your 'my profile' screen Have gotten used to the change a bit more now and i am really liking it, only thing I could suggest is as already mentioned; a few different themes as the white background is very very bright an option for a pale blue background would do wonders
