I knew my technology curse would strike at some point. Nexus went into a continuous boot loop this morning, seemed to be triggered only when trying to call someone. Only seem to be temporary fixes which are either factory reset at the start up screen or do what I did and take the battery out for a few minutes before switching it back on. Seems to be very common as well from reading about it. Anyone experienced this? Is it a software or hardware problem?

A year old and it's still (debatably) the best phone available. And it's £250 brand new unconnected. Only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to sync my contacts with Facebook so all the contact pics appear rather than the default grey face.

Galaxy Nexus arrived yesterday. Stunning. What a fantastic phone. I thought it would be a bit underwhelming as i was sure the wow factor would not be there as a result of getting used to my nexus 7, and it is similar of course, but its surpassed what I expected, even more so following the update to jelly bean. Only had one gripe which was when looking straight on the screen had a very faint yellowish tint, nowhere near as bad as some tints I've seen. Just d/loaded the 'screen adjuster' app, increased the blue value slightly and bingo! Whites are white again. I can tell I'm gonna fall in love with this phone.

Ahhhh the joys of the 21st birthday, getting pulled out of the selly oak canal by your mates and the police after getting shitfaced and deciding 3 in the morning is the perfect time for a dip, then getting a free taxi ride home in a panda car.

Pes 6, good lord what an utter turd of a game. PS2 version was supposedly brilliant. That and pes 08 were enough to make me switch to fifa for 3 years, tried pes 2011, seemed to be getting somewhere. Had fifa12 last year but got bored after few weeks. I wish they would do a next gen This is Football!

Due to EA buying most of the licences up on long term contracts, konamis hands are tied. Not much they can do about it except - and they have done this forever - put a certain tool in the game that can let you either change the names, kits, faces, etc yourself or let someone else do a far more professional job of it and download their option file to your console/PC saving you hours of effort and bringing the game bang up to date. Except for when they didn't! They didn't when it was ISS on the psx and I'm not too sure about the 360 version of pes6 but other than those you have always had the edit mode.

'Six Degrees of Bacon' Type an actors name into google, put 'bacon number' after it and hit search. Eg. Jean Reno bacon number. If you hadn't guessed, its six degrees of seperation from everyone's favourite dancing, tremor hunting invisible man....Kevin Bacon. No one has got more than five so far. Pointlessly addictive.

Whereas I'm not devoted to either game and have no idea how you can say it is slow? The pace of pes seems perfect this year and i like the sense of weight of the ball and players, makes it feel tactile and like your shifting players around rather than the soulless ghosts of fifa. Ive just been playing the Fifa demo for a few hours and while it has its plus points it just feels so vacuous. Its all so light and airy, dribbling with the ball is too loose, shooting feels empty also. There's just no weight, conviction or feeling behind a lot of what you do in the attacking sense of Fifa. Saying that the defending aspect is sublime, truly spot on, the jockeying, timing your tackling, stealing the ball, it all feels just right. Oh and as always the presentation is superb, the lighting is exceptionally well done this year. For the first time this gen we have two equal football games. Different games completely with their own varying pros and cons. May get both this year.

Been getting some great reviews this year, Tom Brammall at Eurogamer (who is a massive fifa fanboy) gave it 9/10. First time in donkeys years that I am actually looking forward to a pes game coming out. Will definitely pick it up on friday.

How do you wear chinos in an hospital?? Are you a nurse, cause if so dont you have to wear nhs uniform?? Mental Health. General nurses wear uniform.

I normally wear chinos (grey, beige or maroon) and a variety of polo shirts, cardigans, jumpers etc.... I rotate between proper shoes and pumps/converse in neutral colours. Nhs forbids denim but I only wear jeans at home anyway. I've seen people wear band shirts and those generic meaningless shirts you get at river island and such, I draw the line at that. Wouldn't wear a band t-shirt to work. It's smart casual for me, not hobo.

Just been looking at the one x and it definitely made me think twice but there is no word on it ever getting the jelly bean update. Just gone to order the nexus off amazon and within the past few hours they have added £20 to their price the rocket polishers. It was £277 this afternoon and is now £295. **** words removed. EDIT: Just got one new and unlocked for £270 off of ebay, london based seller so it should be genuine I hope.

Can add about an extra £50 so I'm guessing the s3 is a bit out my price range any other great Android phones in the £250 - £350 price range or is the nexus pretty much the best? I think ill be getting the nexus tbh and the fact it pairs up and complements the nexus 7 so perfectly just makes the decision easier as I've fallen in love with the nexus 7.

Can you do that? Will it not break my contract with orange? Would my monthly plan just switch to the new phone then?

Sell the 4s for c. £350, buy a Galaxy Nexus brand new for £250, use the £100 to pay off your contract and get a GiffGaff SIM. But with around 18 months still to go on my existing contract aren't orange going to ask me to fork up around £500 to get out my contract? Or is there a standard cancellation of contract charge regardless of time left?

Sell the 4s and buy an S3 or as you say pay off your contract. Okie doke, I've not done his before so have no clue how o go about it so not sure where is best to sell it. I don't really use eBay so an alternative would be gratefully appreciated. Any idea what price I should aim for? Its a white 16gb 4s in mint condition.

I'm on a 24month contract with orange and have got a 4s Bored of the 4s now and really want an s3, is there anyway orange would let me swap less than 6 months into the contract? Or would I have to sell the 4s to buy out the contract/fund the rest of it and then set up a new contract for the s3? Or am I being stupid in thinking its possible?

Anyone with a nexus 7 experiencing odd instances where the bloody thing doesn't switch on a little while after being switched off? (not sleep mode) When it happens I have to hold the power button for about 20-30 secs then it switches on as opposed to the normal 2-5 second press. Have read its a software issue and will be patched but just wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

I'd argue it's been dead for a while, unless you want an argument with, or to be wound up by the same handful of cretins all the time then I'd just stay away.
