Tish is better than both in my opinion - playing Westwood and Gardner in the same midfield leaves us too powderpuff - hopefully this is the last they start together in a game .

Quality player and good value so far - my only complaint that he has tunnel vision at times and doesn't pass when he should - still can play a huge part in our promotion chase though .

I don't think we need to raise money for buys but gestede is not much use to us and it's a better deal for us than boro . would like to see us make a move for Lansbury as goals from midfield have been lacking too long - also seems available for around £3m .

Agreed and these kind of players have the hunger and desire to succeed at a higher level -far better than some who are happy to take the cash and languish in the reserves.

Bruce had said villa were still awaiting a reply from the Ivory Coast - they are meeting up on 2nd so it's still possible he could play at Cardiff and report in Paris tomorrow night and meet the squad - man united had their request turned down but they play late on Monday so maybe that's why .

Exactly - 24 points in 12 games under Bruce is automatic promotion form - it's unfortunate we started with one win in 11 under rdm but the turnaround in results has been encouraging - now we need to spend well and bring in the right players in Jan .

Feel he was unlucky to lose his place - after all he's conceded once in his last 2 games and that was in the corner - that said although I'm not a bunn fan he looked assured today .

Was surprised he needed gestede to translate for him post match as his English seemed decent enough when I've seen him on avtv interviews. Another good shift put in by him today Although the penalty wasn't well hit .

Typical championship game - not pretty but we battled away and took the points - there will be many games like that in this league and winniNg Is the thing that counts . my only query over Bruce would be why tish seems to be frozen out of things when I believe he's good enough to start - maybe something to do with training or attitude ? Bruce needs to recruit well in January and we will be up there in the top 6 come may I believe. was it 3 wins in 40 games when he took over ? To turn that record into 6 wins from 11 is good going.
