  1. actually on second thoughts if your even doubting going to the Villa, then don't **** bother. There's enough fickle folks on the forums, the last thing we need is those sorts actually turning up to games.
  2. I've had my first season ticket in 5 years this year, i'm as excited as a teenager for the Wigan game.
  3. As an ambassador for our club in South America, YES. But as a player? unfortunatly that ship has sailed. Besides i thought the MLS would have been deal keen to sign him up again.
  4. The circus is back in town That's some **** PR work right there.
  5. i'm really surprised people are including Albrighton in the first team, Yes he'd had a great pre-season but i wouldn't go that far yet unless something is wrong with Jimmy Milner. I also don't think id' start with Delph, i think Reo-Coker deserves a shot in the first team. Personally i'd go for: Freidel Beye Cuellar Davies Shorey Milner Petrov Reo-Coker A.Young Carew Heskey. Maybe Swap Gabby for Carew. I don't think it's the right mentality to be playing 4-5-1 at home.
  6. Could say the same about Agbonlahor, based on todays showing, his form will take off where it finished last season, and we'd be better going with Delfounso, he looked much brighter. I reckon he needs to be given a chance this season, he may not have the pace of Agbonlahor, but he's far more aware of whats going on around him. worth noting this was Gabby's first pre-season game.
  7. That's exactly what a cult hero Carew is already, the kind that can get grown 40/50 year olds to kiss him. LOL.
  8. Meaningless cup yes, but what a great experience for our young lads, playing (and beating) the likes of Del Piero, Buffon and Trezeguet.
  9. What's the best odds you can get on Newcastle being relegated again?
  10. Interesting that you say that, yet Young, Carew, Heskey and Petrov were also playing in there first game. Reaction? I've got to be honest, i was thoroughly ashamed at some of the stuff i've read in the match thread. Makes Newcastle fans look rational.
  11. got to say, i liked Curtis's comment at the end about Barry and about getting him down to Villa Park.
  12. Could someone possibly record the goals from Sky Sports News? Be great to see them.
  13. The happiest chair on earth.
  14. I struggle to see how PES can make up ground on fifa without a compete overhaul of there engine, and they seem to be persisting with that rubbish one.
  15. I knew you'd be good at this game Rob. Classic
  16. Dont worry kiddo, no small heath fans are on this message board are they? :winkold: certainly not :winkold: burn him
  17. It'd be easy to spend £18mill on championship fodder and unknown foreigners, it's alot harder IMHO to improve a side that finished consecutively in the top 6.
  18. This is how i've been lately. I've got some time off work and determind to have a few 360 days, Over the last 6 months i've bought too many games tbh, i saw them cheap but have only just got round to playing them. Completed Quantum Of Solace, its not ground breaking by any means but it's enjoyable for some who likes the bond franchise and actually is quite memorable for a bond game thanks to the Treyarch engine. It's a shame that every bond game ever made has to compete against Goldeneye. Next up is Bioshock, this game is two years old but never felt like playing it, I bought it brand new on release and traded it without it entering my tray, bought it again off ebay for about 8 quid about a year ago, and first started playing it today.
  19. By nothing at the end of it, you mean signing six players like last summer, including a key player such as milner?
  20. Lib Dem's have suffered to, i think this also reflects poorly on Nick Clegg, the fact that Lib Dem's keep missing is that to get anywhere in modern politics you need to have charisma.
