I'd take a draw this weekend, and beat them in the league cup final.

Spurs haven't won away at any of the big four since 1993, we aren't quite as pathetic as them at least. When was the last time we won at Old Trafford? but when did we last win at Stamford Bridge? (5 years ago?) Anfield? or Arsenal?

i'm sure we said that in last years fixture. Given our history against them, a point would be a great achievement.

From what i heard on FiveLive, Lawro was saying that he thought the wigan game had gone to the players heads. Inside the first 20 mins it was all spurs and old man neville was having a torrid time against Lennon, then they thought it'd be easy so every player started taking an extra touch. Even singling out Palacios due to him doing needless flicks in the middle of the park. (i picked up on him doing this in our game for the first 20 minutes, i was screaming for Nigel to clock him one) Finished up by saying that you don't over play against United, you go for the jugular and Spurs got what they deserved for the attitude they showed.

Pretty sure they have 4 players cup tied/ineligible and another 2 or 3 injured. think Boateng and O'Hara have been they're best players recently. Thankfully will both sit this match out.

I'm annoyed, i really feel like the Man City game that we allowed Spurs to take the initiative, we would moving the ball lovely in the first half but started to clam up towards the end of it, nothing altered during the break and from then on it was inevitable that they'd score. Rather than shoe horning Gabby/Carew into a 4-5-1 in these type of games i feel we should either try and keep the shape with conviction or take a forward off to properly shut up shop. It makes you wonder how we'd look if we'd have actually won the game we led in. I can count Blackburn/Man City and Spurs. plus 7 points i think.

Is King ever not a doubt to play? I'd love us for just once, dispatch a Harry Redknapp team with no fuss and send him back on his merry way to london with a face like a wet weekend in Bournemouth.

Did the other team have different weather? most stupid question ever?!? Given that Burnley were the home side just perhaps they were more used to the conditions at Turf Moor on saturday.

Awwwwwwwww, somebody upset with the result? We got beat 2-0 by Wigan at Home. Credit to Spurs. Sorry but is there really any need? I made an observation about how shocking Wigan were, and i know the history of people on here and in the media about bigging up Spurs. but yeah, thanks for your contribution.

For me i see no logic in changing a winning team, despite Petrov being the club captain he should have to earn his place in the side again. the only change i could see is Collins for Dunne after Dunne has played in two matches in a week.

Zheng Zhi, looked tidy for Charlton when they got relegated. Dunno whatever happened to him.

I can only imagine he was concerned about being caught on the break but i did wonder on saturday when he hardly went up for there set pieces.

I think they can, Cahill has performed abhorrently against us and seems to save his worst for the matches when he lines up against us. While Zat Knight showed every reason to justify MON selling him.

I dunno, i was feeling confident about this earlier in the week but i don't at all now. Nothing's changed either team wise, must be just nerves. We should beat them, My only worry is if Hines plays, think he could give our RB a test. We need to win it i just hope we have the fire power to do it. I'd be tempted to go 4-5-1 with Carew up top and Gabby on the right, although i think Albrighton should play some part in the game, escpecially as Gabby is our most threatening forward and you don't really want him playing RW.

I saw one interview where he seemed to insinuate they'd have comfortably beat us if they hadn't got all those injuries. It's quite insulting of him to mean as much. I've never been a fan of Moyes and his behavior this week has made me like him even less.
