He could see us as another Spurs scenario to rebuild his reputation. Our squad is actually better than the Spurs one he inherited, and with full support from the board (unlike at Spurs where he once went 18 months without signing a single player), and without the massive expectations from the fans of the bigger clubs, who knows? I guess it depends on how fast he thinks he can get this team winning trophies, but hopefully he's already scratched that itch at PSG
Yes of course that's totally what we should be doing.
The problem is, we seem to be the antithesis of this.
We hardly have ONE player who has an off day, it seems when one of them are bad, the whole team is bad, for some reason.
Al I meant was on a day when things are off, one or two players who drag you to a result is useful.
In our most recent past, that has been the likes of McGinn, Jack and Mings IMO.
Doesn't necessarily mean we need to sign these, but we need some of our " leaders " to stand up and be counted in these times.
I agree with this but a lot of people fall for it being part of the "atmosphere" etc.
It's kinda like buying popcorn at the cinema. You can easily go without for a 90 minute film or buy it (comparatively) dirt cheap from a supermarket or even make it at home. However, people will gladly pay £5+ for a tiny little tub of it.
Stops the "banter"
I can see more grounds doing it, unfortunately when they did all these new soulless bowl stadiums the village idiots wanted to sit near the away fans rather than behind their goal, they don't have a famous home fan stand anymore
This is the result
Not sure how city fans can say much about it because their ground is the worst for it IMO, they watch the away fans for 90 mins not the game
