You stats can be built simultaneously, i've got a manager mode and i'm playing myself upfront. but in my Be a pro season i'm a CAM, both positions obviously build different aspects of your player because of the differing styles of play for each role. Also some of the accomplishments are stackable, ie 10 goals with your weaker foot. you can score 3 in Be a pro and 7 in manager mode and it'll count to your progress.

I bloody love this game, i need to dedicate some serious time to it though. Haven't tried the game face yet, but like the look of this virtual pro. Downloaded the Bernabeau and the squad updates. So far i've only played one game online, I was the Villa against someone as Man City, the team updated start with a 4-5-1, it was a fairly dour first 65 mins, then out of nothing Adebayor wriggled free of Dunne and picked up a through ball, after a stop from Friedal, he poked home the rebound. It was disapointing as there hadn't been many chances. I had to make a change, switched it to 4-4-2 and brought on Big John. Instantly i had alot more room in midfield and with my first attack from kick-off, clipped a ball into Carew who layed the ball of to Gabby and he slammed it off the post. last 20 minutes was all preasure from me, he couldn't handle the presence of Carew, after some close chances, i finally got the winner with a couple of minutes left, Carew bringing down a cross and slotting it in the bottom corner. Instantly this game feels alot realistic, like formations and types of players make a difference, against Man City's formation i wasn't getting much joy but changeing my formation and rethinking the style of play got the break through.

Except when Bouma plays against him... TBF, This is a great test for Warnock, and a big test for our defense.

I really don't know how people are coming to those conclusions, admittedly mine are only drawn from the demos.

Play have it in stock from yesturday sent mine out today. Rumours are Asda are going to be doing it for 25 quid, Tesco 29quid on Friday. Tesco has been confirmed £28.00 until sunday ( I went in and asked today) and lots of rumours of asda and morrisons knocking it out for £25 I'm currently trying to cancel my argos pre-order. I'd rather go down Morrisons at 8 in the morning than run the risk of not having it for a week.

Does anyone know what Argos are like for pre-orders, i got this with they're offer, think it works out at £32.50 delivered, only thing is, i worry i won't get it for ages. I know Game normally send out pre-orders a day early to ensure you get it. but i can just see argos **** me around.

Whatever the end result, i think we'll give a good account of our selves. It's the least i expect against these scum sucking, morally bankrupt words removed.

4-5-1 with Reo-Coker, Sidwell Please MON. it's proven, that combination has both the ability to disrupt oporsition and create chances for us.

How are you playing it already? This is one of my favourites off the demo.

I think that's a frightening combination, and i think it'd be too much for blackburn.

Personally I'd like to see: Friedel L.Young-Dunne-Collins-Warnock Milner-NRC-Petrov-Sidwell-A.Young Gabby. I think the side could look more like this given we've got injury concerns/and the way Blackburn play. Friedel Cuellar-Dunne-Collins-Warnock Milner-Petrov-Delph-A.Young Gabby-Carew. If Ashley isn't fully recovered then i'd hope Albrighton will start to give us some proper balance in midfield and then switch Milner over to the left.

Thought we lacked balance all night tbh until albrighton came on, basically whichever flank Milner moved to, thats where the play was going. I'm pretty sure Gardner had been told to push up and out but he's never a Right Midfielder and really struggled to have any impact. I still thought he'd make a bigger impression on the game though. Think Albrighton should have started TBH, yes he lacks experience but he showed some nice touches and got in behind his full back a couple of times to send over some teasing balls, Midfield looked better for the 10 minutes he was on, only wish O'Neill would rest Petrov, i think he'll start to tire as the season runs and we'll be punished for his absence. Other than that i think the defence on the whole looked solid, although Baye struggled without any real support in front of him, Guzan looks a safe pair of hands. and Gabby looks like a complete player again, dropping deep, moving wide, driving on with the ball, showing great vision now too, Gabby a few years back wouldn't have seen Petrovs run to win the Pen. Carew seems to be lacking abit though, i think he's still warming up, it always take him a few games to get upto speed. Delph was brilliant, needs to cut out getting cought in possession but his vision and passing ability is already unparralled imo in our current team. Spotted and made some great passes last night, switching play wonderfully. I think once he's upto speed he'll be a massive asset.

MON's confirmed Heskeys unlikely to play any part against Cardiff.

I agree, Delph could have a great day in the 5 man midfield. more licence to be creative and he's got the engine to get back and help out like Reo-Coker, except Delph undoubtedly has greater attacking technique.

I could envisage MON playing Reo-Coker at RB in this game, just to prove a point.
