    For all of Spuds 'possesion' Brad didn't have to pull off many world class saves. Think our defence is looking incredibly strong. After keeping Defoe quiet (didn't have a sniff today did he?) i hope we can keep Red Hot Rooney quiet on Wednesday.

    i've read some rubbish on here but to honestly suggest Benjani as an option for a CL chasing side is hilarious, He's one of the most average players to pick a pay packet in the premier league, offers less than Heskey.

    i don't gabby could have, if he'd have put any sort of height on it would have probably lost the accuracy or power so, hard and low was the best option IMO.

    Cuellar is all over the place and Crouch is pissing me off, when did he ever win that many headers for us.

    As someone else said, he drifted in and out of the game a little but showed some classy touches and competed well in the air too. Holds the ball up pretty well and you just sense he will always score goals. in my opinion, i think he'd have posed a much bigger threat, had he not been playing as a lone striker for much of the game.

    i suspect they're actually quietly pleased that they're out of the FA cup.

    Agree'd, sitting the trinity it was all to clear that Ash was playing to deep and making life more uncomfortable for Cuellar by not pushing up field and giving carlos space to run into.

    TBH, Guzan deserves his place in the semi-final due to the role he played in previous rounds. He's progressing greatly, just needs to start commanding his area like Big Brad.

    i have to wonder why our strikers are so reluctant to stand in the penalty area. Carew seems to play deeper and deeper the more games he plays.
