How fun are we to watch at the moment? The defending can be atrocious at times but the matches are end to end and McGinn, Bailey and Duran could've all scored.

That dummy today is a great example of why stats don't tell the whole story.

Quality and fine margins were the difference. All of which can be worked on. That was a decent performance all things considered and we could've easily walked away with 3 points. Onwards and upwards.

We gifted them 4 goals today and we still looked like we could win. That's progress. Eliminate the mistakes and we'll be well up there.

I hate to be boring but I couldn't possibly pick one. I don't see them in training. Whoever Emery decides on will be the best man for the job I'd wager.

Funnily enough I watch him too. I've never rated him and always called for Ings to start but if you can't see what Watkins offers now under Emery then you're lost. If the midfield behind him and his partner up top can start feeding him more chances he'll score a lot more.

Watkins has 3 goals and 2 assist in 7 games. He's far from the worst of our attacking players.

If he plays his part in us finishing in the top half I could not care less about how many goals he scores. How many chances did he get today? I'd sooner criticise Ramsey/Buendia/Bailey than Watkins.

He's a big **** and very physical which will help him tremendously as he adapts to the Premier League. I'm optimistic he'll come good!
