Really like him and i'm not too sure why... Probably because i'd rather a player play like an idiot (with the constant shooting) and show commitment then play like a pussy and not give a ****. Anything he did today which would reinforce my idea he's the best player ever?

Piggy backing off what Con said... PROTECTING HIM FOR ******* WHAT??? To do a sideways pass or a fart of a cross in the vague direction of Benteke? Really really really really don't get the decreasing number of people who actually think he is worth a spot on the pitch over someone like Sylla.

Sounds like a good plan in prospect! However problem is i reckon Delph would struggle to stick with playing CAM and slip back to what feels natural. Leaving us with the overused 4-3-3.

Didn't watch the game, but from what i've gathered we created a load of chances and couldn't finish them? Agreed you have to finish your chances at this level but at least we created them, so why is everyone so angry at the performance? (performance not result) ^ Not a rhetorical question, genuinely curious.

I'm not sure what some other people are seeing, but to me is indisputably our best midfielder and arguably our best player this season.

I'd personally like to see him eased in towards the end of this season and then given more game time next season (similar to Weimann under he who will not be named). As we have no player who is similar to him at the moment, so I think he should be given a chance as it will give us a different option, not just a different player (if that makes sense)... -

Might not be one of our best players ATM but one of the only players we have who I could see getting really really good IMO.

Unless Benteke is injured (or subbed off due to being tired) I don't think we'll be seeing him on the pitch in another league game this season. Or at least, I hope we don't.

Is it that Lambert "prefers to develop a player rather than buying the finished product" or is it a lot to do with the fact that there isn't the funds there to buy a finished product..?

I think it's unfair to write Bacuna off as a midfielder based on just the Liverpool game. Hope he gets another chance there to be honest as I think Matty is definitely one of our best XI players.
