The build up to the Newcastle Everton match had loads of talk about how good Calvert lewin is despite no goals in about 5 months and only 3 all season. Am I the only one that thinks he is actually a fraud of a striker? Like real dog shit. Lots of nearly getting on the end or just missing a cross because he is so poor he is never in the right position
-
Season almost completely written off due to an England u21 comp
-
Thought he was near faultless yesterday
-
More talk of him being targeted by ratcliffe to take over from Utd. I am manifesting intensely for this to happen I think he would be great for Utd

I’m incline to agree and I am 100% certain if it wasn’t a player at one of the sky 6 he would be feeling lucky to a call up to the 21’s but Southgate is so blinkered by those teams he can’t stop himself albeit I think the kid looks decent but as suggested very naive and green. However happier to see him in the squad than Levi collwell, he is literally in the squad based on who he plays for because he is a very very average player

That is a big loss for wolves he is their best player. I really rate him and he is key to how they play getting them up the pitch
-
I think they will end up with another deduction given forests but I imagine it would be no more than what forest got so they will probably still survive some how

I don’t see us creating much the way things are currently, we look idealess and lacking any drive or pace. Also not sure what Duran and Rodger’s offer at all

The General FFP (Financial Fair Play) Thread
punkiller1981 replied to Marka Ragnos's topic in Other Football
That might be fair the sky 6 won’t have that -
Fwiw I thought Tim Played very well when he came on and we are going to need him in the run in especially in the next 3-4 games. Mcginn stitched us up but like kamara did against Brentford with a very silly sending off. I did also actually think it was only a yellow card foul as ugly as it looked. The dramatics from spurs got that upgraded to a red

It doesn’t work like that though because we can’t build due to ffp so we will have our better players picked off and it’s back to the drawing board

People said that after Jack went but looking at where we are now compared to when he left I would say we have edged forwards
-
He certainly is a unit he is 6ft 4 which really surprised me

I agree completely with moving that car park for something that generates money. I can’t think of many stadiums that have a car park right outside (maybe old Trafford) but not many. should we not look at Liverpool and how they seem to have been able to rebuild 2 stands while keeping the existing stand partially open plus I would guess they have also improved revenue streams in the existing stands like the kop as well. The holte end as an example is pathetic when it comes to food and drinks service and quality

Just read an article saying arsenal might be prepared to consider offers in the region of £50 million for Eddie nketiah am I missing something or does that valuation look about £40-50 million to high

Spurs have to play them 3 as well in consecutive games starting the week after they play Newcastle away

I agree he would be mad if he was offered Utd. For a guy that spent most of his career managing in some Scandinavian league then does an average job at Swansea, moves to Brighton and did a very good job within there system and ends up lasting about 4 months at Chelsea it would be crazy that he would be in the running to manage Utd but hey what do I know. fwiw he probably is a decent manager but his record is hardly Emery good is it
-
He would suit PSG or the French league because you can wander around not doing much and still win easy enough. I hope they don’t yet and buy him because I’m getting fed up of sides like Utd and Chelsea being able to offload their rubbish for more money than they should get. I would much rather other teams left these players where they are to punish Utd and Chelsea for bad decisions making. on rashfords performance yesterday, other than the goal which was a great strike I thought his performance other than that was poor and his usual lazy self. In comparison to someone like Phil foden who I know plays in a different position but it’s still like night and day with the energy and intensity
-
I agree spurs might and probably won’t drop loads of points but they do have a run of 4 games starting with Newcastle away then in an order I can’t remember Liverpool Man City and arsenal so that could be a very tough 4 game run. I know we have Liverpool Man City and arsenal to play but not one after another so that little run could make or break them

To be fair konsa pulling the guy back to was pathetic and unnecessary. The guy was in the touch line with cash getting back around. Just let him go and defend the next phase

I agree when fully fit he has something that most teams don’t have and that’s the ability to drive us up field at pace and with purpose also he is very good at joining up with our counter attacks with his pace and power

I’m sure I’m being thick here but excluding wages etc when it comes to transfer costs am I right in thinking hypothetically and simplistically if we sold £30 million worth of players we would have £120 million to play with based on 4 year contracts excluding and money still owed on a player that leaves ?
