  1. The grass has never looked so green at vp, must be the 11 pieces of shite fertilising it every week
  2. nursey reporting bevington about to leave too. who is left!? anyone think its strange the "new" football board gone, aalmstad gone, fox gone, but paddy reilly still hanging on in there. reilly must have mucky photos of randy somewhere.
  3. reg said earlier that the club are in negotiation about a sale. But in reality have just hired another law firm to try and sell us. do they think fans are that stupid that they cant see what they are doing. "2 board members who have been here a month have resigned, shit what do we do!? lets tell the fans we've sold the club that will cheer them up" i wouldnt piss on lerner if he was on fire
  4. Championship will be a disaster, any one who tells you any different has simply been brainwashed. The most uncompetitive team I've seen in one of most competitive leagues going, spells out only one thing, disaster. Anyone remember the blues game where we only just beat them? And they cut right through us about 3-4 times? We could easily do a wolves and slip again. expect more of the same next season, Stuttering along on the pitch, more cost cutting by the poison board. And the Joker Fox popping up with his rally cries and false narratives every few months. Oh.. and let's not forget our ever so loyal fans scrambling for tickets for away games because are penny punching board have only decided to take the smallest allocation possible in fear they'll lose a few thousand if we don't sell all the tickets. Its going to be like that until the disease that run our great club clear off. I hate them for what they've done to my club. It's simply unforgivable
  5. I Don't think he's gonna get any faster, he's a delight to watch though. He's like opening a jar of coffee and having the smell just oozing up your nose. So silky and smooth
  6. How can people who have been round the game for so long make decisions like that though? To the layman amavi is in another league
  7. He was great today, the enforcer it's not easy going toe to toe with toure but I thought he did excellent. You don't get 60 caps for Columbia for nothing. He's been Columbia's best player in there last few games. Play him where he's comfortable and watch him go. He will be big for us and a fan favourite. Well done Carlos
  8. if they catch me in a good mood I will answer them and sometimes throw in a wonderful lie, other times I put my change back in my wallet cut my eyes and walk out the shop
  9. Over friendly shop workers when your paying for your goods. " hi how are you? How has your day been? You up to much today? It makes me feel terribly awkward
  10. There has to be something more to these bizarre selections. I don't know what, but something just isn't right
  11. I wouldn't be so sure remi is coming
  12. Nice to see his mom has made him put his best Sunday shirt on for the occasion. Tim will appreciate that
  13. That ended when a certain chap from Barca came into view. you think Tim is working on a couple more before the deadline?
  14. not yet, any news on it from your side of the channel?
  15. if cavani and his agent want it happen I'm sure they would not have a problem chartering a private jet, I mean what is it just over an hours flight from Birmingham?
  16. In all seriousness, if we don't get a striker in it really will be a long old season. Think lescott would add a bit of experience in there too. Lost a yard or two but can still read the game better than any defender we have at the club
  17. Screaming out for a player like cavani, we should put a bid in for him. Not sure if he's Tim's sort of player though
  18. Screaming out for a player like cavani, we should put a bid in for him. Not sure if he's Tim's sort of player though
  19. His last couple of contracts have been handed to him on the hope he will turn the corner from his injuries and turn into a star for us. I personally think this contract will end up the same as previous years injuries a few loans thrown in and eventually think he will go. I don't think he's done anything to be rewarded with a new 3 year deal. My opinion of course
  20. The ice has melted in the champagne bucket. How long am I to be expectant? Im going on hunger strike until he signs. Last time I did this was the kiyotake saga i ended up in hospital
  21. I agree we need a couple more in but in my opinion Hutton is fine at right back. And it's far to early to judge crespo, you never know he could end up being our best signing, Football can be like that. Centre back is the real worry for Me, We really do need a 'proper ' centre back in there as I think Richards will get found out. Also to point out clark, okore and Richards injury record isn't the best
  22. http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/245357/adama-traore?page=20 Just like any other forums do and same as Villa fans do to other teams...whats the news really? xdIt's amazing how our standing has diminished with fans from other teams. I'm not hugely surprised given how terrible we've been for years now. It would surprises me if we genuinely beat Liverpool to this guy though. If they really want him, I suspect they'll get him. I can see us beating Stoke to potential targets though. I guess it would depend on the financial package and the 'project' though. I totally agree we seem to be looked at as a nothing club by other clubs fans now which I really don't get. Yes we've had a few bad years but were Aston villa for goodness sake not some piss pot outfit who bounced from division to division for years. I like to think a lot of it with the Midlands clubs is envy as we are by far the biggest and greatest club in the area
  23. Haven't heard any new links today, but I think it will be such a shame if we start the new season with this "potentially" exciting new look team with our shaky defence. We need to go out spend some money on a experienced cb, a defender who is disciplined and will Marshall the rest of the defence
  24. I've watched Valdes for a good number of years, In my eyes I've never seen him as a top top goalkeeper. He's prone to howlers and isn't the most flexible. He made his name by playing in a unbelievable barca team that hardly gave a sniff of possession to the opposition. He can pass the ball well though I'll give him that, but what do you expect from someone who was at barca for so long.
