His last couple of contracts have been handed to him on the hope he will turn the corner from his injuries and turn into a star for us. I personally think this contract will end up the same as previous years injuries a few loans thrown in and eventually think he will go. I don't think he's done anything to be rewarded with a new 3 year deal. My opinion of course

And it's far to early to judge crespo, you never know he could end up being our best signing, Football can be like that. Centre back is the real worry for Me, We really do need a 'proper ' centre back in there as I think Richards will get found out. I've watched Valdes for a good number of years, In my eyes I've never seen him as a top top goalkeeper. He's prone to howlers and isn't the most flexible. He made his name by playing in a unbelievable barca team that hardly gave a sniff of possession to the opposition. He can pass the ball well though I'll give him that, but what do you expect from someone who was at barca for so long.
