  1. Steve Marriott would've been 70 today. I'd have loved to have got to one of his gigs.
  2. You speedin' bro? What you got?
  3. early Trump ancestor found Scientists have identified an early ancestor with a tiny brain and a big mouth that doubles as an anus.
  4. @tonyh29 is going to be gutted if he misses that gig list. Chuck a Big Country cover band in the middle of that lot he'd think he'd died and gone to devon.
  5. No, to be fair she's really good at stuff like that. We're constantly looking to score juvenile points off each other and over 32 years I'd guess we're still about even.
  6. When BP Chemicals were taken over by Nippon Zeon the local workforce here in town were worried about the new Japanese regime. The first three things the new overlords did, were: Give a monthly cash budget to each shift work team to go out and socialise together as that work team saw fit, without managers present. Set up a de-stress room with punchbags with generic japanese faces on. Send a manager on a courtesy visit to any and all members of staff phoning in sick, to deliver complimentary fruit and see if there was anything else they needed. Time of visit 'random'. ---- true story
  7. Not much gets said about it? What the **** tv and papers are you using? It's all I'm ever seeing and hearing the troubles in Afghanistan, the shit people in Pakistan have to put up with, the tribal murders in Myanmar, killing female babies, chucking acid at women, female genital mutilation. Nobody is saying we are cavemen, don't try and be a victim, it's not a great look. Be the big man.
  8. The glorious 1950's when mixed race marriage was still illegal? Or the glorious 1950's when blacks weren't allowed to eat in the same restaurants or piss in the same toilets as white folk? That's not KKK stuff. that's law. I'm not picking on you, it's not post on poster, but that sort of thinking where everything would be nicer if it all went back to being a bit like it was, that's turning out to be a real desire for a lot of people. Usually people who had priviledge, or don't actually know what the past was like, or, or I don't know what. i can't get my head around it. We've all got google. Properly pisses me off, people referencing the good old days.
  9. Aah, I'm just glad we're currently burning the bridges to our 27 nearest neighbours, whilst at the same time promising to stand up to anything Trump says that is wrong.
  10. yep, we're not here very long, best to try and enjoy as much of the ride as possible got to find your thing
  11. My missus having a brilliant rant and vowing never to shop in the local waitrose ever again because she read they'd given £125 to some local **** conservative group. Me pointing out it said conservation group.
  12. for no real reason other than name dropping in front of @blandy I recently mentioned the Dukla Prague away kit to The Lovely Eggs, they didn't have a clue what I was referencing! For all that's happened in the last year, that was the first time I'd been truly surprised.
  13. In between trips up and down the motorway yesterday evening I sat in front of the TV and The One Show was on. First one up, part of their 'panel' on some Brexit vox pop review some female pensioner who's summary of her stance, straight to camera, was: We're losing why we were Great, we used to be Great but there are too many immigrants, we're sinking, sinking because of all the immigrants. 'click' off went the tory BBC I'm presuming she wasn't hit about with a table leg? Hope I didn't miss anything worthwhile. Yeah, I watched the One Show. Whilst eating soup.
  14. ...and the other story states quite quickly that being registered twice isn't actually all that naughty, let alone 'fraud'. That was kind of my point with the 'lock him up' it's all just noise. Like it was when it was Hilary, and Bush before her. But the point I was making quite clearly and plainly in my head might not have translated all that well once I started tapping the keys.
  15. lock him up, lock him up... Indy Newsweek
  16. 3,000,000 fraudulent democrat votes 2,000,000 on the mall for Trump's inauguration 12 likes on VT for a Tony post I'll just leave that there without comment...
  17. I'm not overly bothered about the next story line as long as there are lots of toys and collectables across multiple price entry points. I'd also like a fairly generic Star Wars tee shirt to be available in XXL in Tesco menswear. Not XXXL, don't want it completely covering the belly, got to tease those ladies with a sexy little belly under hang. Stickers too. There haven't really been any packs of stickers to get excited about since the Euro's. Plus of course, a colouring book for medium ability colourers. None of this thousands of thin lined difficult colouring in shit you see now in The Works. But not some spazzy colouring for three year olds either. A nice middle of the road colouring book. With a word search in the middle. Ooh, and an easter egg, in a star wars mug. With the picture on the mug lacking any fine detail, perhaps a grey disc representing a death star that can't take 4 goes in a dishwasher. I don't ask for much from the next film.
