Their forum is painful viewing. They are like the Small Heath of the North, millions of threads about the 'mags' yet apparently it's them that's obsessed Loads of talk about how they are such a big club as well, bigger than us I've seen a few times, what a strange bunch.

Liverpool had the better first half but Arsenal were completely dominant in the second, they didn't look too bad at all especially considering the makeshift defence.

I hope Arsenal do them. Rogers has got to be one of the most unlikeable people in football, seeing his smug arms in the air celebration ruined was the highlight of the half, rocket polisher.

Dont see how people are saying Lescott is crap, he clearly isn't, had a very solid season last year as well. Voted as their player of the season by the fans I believe.

Just on the basis of his ability id have him, he's obviously very talented, but hes off his rocker and not sure it would be worth the gamble of him potentially pissing everyone off.

I see that price and think it's absolute madness, and it is, but Chelsea have the money and if Mangala is worth that price to City then I don't see why Stones isn't worth that to Chelsea.

Good job Benteke was my captain or I would have been cut adrift in my league. Used my wildcard myself now, playing 5 midfielders all of which are likely to score goals so will hopefully pay off. I'm spilt on whether to swap out Courtois though as after how well Begovic played I'm not sure he's going to walk straight back in.

Minor error? It was awful defending. Organisation of the back line, from set pieces in particular, was subpar as well. Guess we can just as easily tell from preseason the people who will refuse to acknowledge any criticisms as valid.

This is how I saw it, and I was deliberately paying close attention to him as its such a popular point that what he does goes unnoticed. Was neat and tidy, kept the ball well and the technique for some of the passes was excellent but nothing really incisive. Amavi head and shoulders above him IMO, would probably have Gueye just pipping him as well.
