  1. I hope this won't become yet another endless saga. He wants to leave, so we can set any "loyalty" issues aside and get to the money talk.
  2. Chuck. I saw the first episode by mistake and I am hooked ever since.
  3. The whole debate of whether a woman can or cannot wear a specific cloth over her face is nice, but a bit naive. If you wish to ensure the freedom of the women in Muslim society, you should dig a bit deeper than what she's wearing. I agree that the Burqa represents a bigger idea, but I am quite positive that no other actions will taken to solve this situation. There is a problem with women rights in the extreme Muslim society. Here in Israel we had numerous cases of brothers killing their sisters for dating someone and no matter how hard you'll try - you will not find Burqas here. This brought the entire system to try and get to the roots of this behavior and to try and change things from there. I am not sure how good this worked (as all I know comes from seeing the news), but this is the way to bring a change.
  4. Sorry, no pics with Villa shirt as I don't have one Still - I am sure this will suffice.
  5. If my missus would buy me a book for Valentine - than I'm definitely not into her
  6. Actually no, I'm wrong. With 3 it's if the sum of the digits add up to something that is divisible by 3, then the wholenumber is divisible by 3. So, 477 = 4+7+7 = 18 which is divisible by 3, so 477 is also divisible by 3. It's also used with 6 - the sum of digits is divisible by 3 AND 2 - the whole number is divisible by 6 (not surprising, considering the amazing fact that 6=3*2...).
  7. I support Maccabi Petah Tikva. It's like supporting West Hem minus the fans, with a crappy stadium and no supporters at all due to the crappy football Hmmm... I think I'' swap West Ham with Blackburn to better describe this
  8. A couple of years ago, every time I was late to the kickoff of the home matches of my favourite team here in Israel, we conceded. I missed 5 or 6 goals like that. Since I am always late, to any event (including my own wedding), some of the fans contacted me personally, asking me to so the extra effort and come before the kickoff. I did that, we won 1-0, the opponents missed a penalty and we escaped the drop.
  9. You need to stop masturbating," the doctor says. The man asks, "Why?" The doctor replies, "Because I'm trying to examine you.
  10. Well, I can tell you what's the person sitting next to me is hearing. I don't know the name of it but it goes like this: ta ta ta ta ta ta Head exploding!! pa pa pa pa pa Extreme noise tra tra tra tz tz tz I think I'm going to kill him. Silence is golden
  11. This is a crappy ad. As far as I know (and I am a native Hebrew speaker...) there is not much difference between modern-day Hebrew and Biblical Hebrew... And beside, who speaks Biblical Hebrew?!
  12. I ate a huge steak a couple of days ago. I am a cowboy too...
  13. Andorra has a landmass half the size of Bradford and a population one sixth of Milton Keynes. The game we played over in Kazakhstan is the furthest distance England could possibly have travelled in the European Championship (as both of Russias stadiums are nearer, being in Moscow and St Petersburg). The only teams that could possibly have had a longer journey are Iceland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland - all traveling to Kazakhstan. I've been trying to find out if these games have ever happened.. I would imagine so but have been unable to find reports of one. If not then England have at least got one record this qualifying This is highly unlikely as Kazakhstan was only recently introduced to UEFA. You could check any Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan matches. It would be easier to find
  14. Osasuna is a strange team. I read about them a bit when they looked doomed. It seems that what interests their supporters is that the players play strong and show a lot of dedication. Their first manager tried to play attractive football and the supporters practically gave up of the team. They stopped showing to matches and the combination of this alongside the squad's lack of quality, brought them to the brink or relegation. When Camacho became the manager, he made sure his players give 120% on each match and put the good football aside, and started hoofing long balls all over the place. The result was immediate - the crowd was back and the team was saved.
  15. 1. Espanyol should not have been rock bottom at the first place. Their squad is a lot better than what we saw from them. That is why, the moment they managed to chain a couple of wins, their rising confidence and their great squad allowed them to make a great run for it. I like Espanyol. They always try to play football and do not try to settle for the draw. 2. Forget Betis, take a look as Sporting Gijon. They had an incredible season. After getting 6s and 7s in the beginning of the season, they came to realize that defending wasn't one of their strength. So instead of putting all men behind the ball, they chose to goo all out attack. They survived the drop with a goal difference of -37 !!!
  16. I am just fed up with all those who choose to point at the referee as the one to blame. The same happened with my team in Israel. We play like crap and our opponent, after hitting the woodwork 14 times and having 84% ball possession, manage to get a winner. Who is at fault? Our "you-don't-have-a-clue" manager? The shitty players who lack any football technique? No! It's the referee! If only he wasn't there... As I said to my Chelsea-Supporter-Friend, Drogba chose to yell at the referee. If only he could have scored his sitter, the referee was to become a non-factor. He blew it. Anelka blew it. They all blew it, but decided to go at the referee.
  17. Well, I support a crappy team here, finding it hard to win a match, but when our local rivals won promotion, the supporters were happy - there's 9 points in the bank (we play three rounds here). So far - we took 6 and the third match takes place in two weeks time, so... you know... I try to hand on to this...
  18. Pepe is an idiot. First, he handed Getafe their opener and then he decided it's a good time to go insane and went berserk, handing Getafe a penalty (the player did dive, but Pepe pushed him blatantly) and then went kicking all over the place. For crying out loud - he's a professional football. There is no excuse for such behavior, especially when you know Barcelona play Real in Madrid in 2 weeks time. . I guess he'll be out for more than a couple of matches...
  19. I usually go with the underdogs, so in most cases I support Barcelona's rivals... I have to say that I found it disturbing to see a top-half team such as Malaga (they were 7th, if I remember correctly) being wiped aside by Barcelona. It was like Barcelona were playing the bottom club here in Israel. So easy. They scored 6 and if goal difference was of any importance - they could score 6 more.
  20. The only question left is what to do if the animal makes signs of enjoying it. Those horny kangaroos!
  21. Just give me enough to pay out the mortgage and I am done.
  22. Well, got my pic in the newspaper once as I was one of the few who claimed the executives who run my football team in Israel is rubbish...
  23. Ramos is a good manager. He did wonders with Sivilia and watching their matches was a lot of fun. He did only one mistake, though. He signed for Spuds. Even Redknapp is having troubles lifting them and they still look like sh*t. I think that with the current management, only Sir Alex can save them...
