Foden absolutely owning that left hand side

I’m all about the numbers. he needs goals and assists. How many games isn’t as much of an issue but would mean he’s need to be phenomenal every time he comes back to the side. Certainly gives the physios and doctors their chance to earn their bread and butter when it comes to managing players fitness. You’d want Barkley to be hitting close to Jack numbers (roughly 1 goal and 1 assist every 6 matches) Barkley currently 1 in 10. Caveat being how many of his 208 matches have been bit part substitutions at Chelsea. Quite a few I imagine. if he plays half a season he should end with 3 goals and 3 assists, that’s not £30m worth of return over a contract. So he does need to be playing more than he has this season. Providing he comes back and doesn’t get injured again should mean he plays over 2/3 of the season.

We have a good chance. It might be rearranged but we play Leicester two days after they are away in Prague. That’s a good a time as any to play them. We have a habit of getting managers sacked. We could sort Bruce out next

We will still be a couple of games behind for a while but with City and Newcastle this week. You’d hope for 3+ from those two. puts us 8th with two in hand over most after this weekend is done and dusted. we’ve got a real opportunity to go with the top half group and not the bottom half. by the end of Jan I think we will know which half we will end up in.

Looks like Luiz was in a picture with him too, so wondering if he’s returned to the squad for training and not just in his own?

Well, condemned to god in a condemned stand...

That was worth the fee alone. He’s done well for us. Just not at the level we require anymore. Huge asset and I always respected him. My gripe with him was his work rate off the ball, he had passing and shooting (1 in 5 for a CM is pretty good). Wish him well.

to quote one of my cricket clubs all time great quotes from another player' vs top of the league years ago... "i'll cut my nob off if we win!" You can guess what happened...

That would be insane.... there’s only ever going to be one Milan and it isn’t Inter.

This one because in the 80s, fighting took place miles apart from the other actor it seemed. And relevant to the Netflix series right now

Where would they run with no fans? although they could run and slide in front of the opposition bench... imagine that!

An example thing, nothing to do with reducing the spread as you say, they’re in close proximity more than anyone else right now

Given the furore now surrounding even celebrating goals, wondering what celebrations could still deliver but be done socially distanced? I’ll go first, sit 2m apart and this works

The RJW63 Official Jack Grealish Appreciation Thread

There really should be a montage of all the fouls jack gets. He really does get proper nailed sometimes and people still moan. he definitely buys some but he’s been clattered plenty this season -
Need Burnley to do us a little favour here. We could still be in the top half with 3 games in hand.
-
Some player called Digga has a highlight video on their page on Facebook. Half of them are fouls worthy of cards and a few of him pushing people over... is that all they’ve got?
-
Do we even have a timescale for his return yet? heard nothing so far about when he could return by. Surely cannot be too long. I see above it's likely to be his second worst injury to date, we've been lucky he hasn't missed as many games as he could have done. However we are coming up to a busy set of games, he needs to be playing some of them.

I guess If Covid has ripped through the squad, whilst rough should mean antibodies are also rife and should t be returning positive results any time soon. we don’t know who has and hasn’t had it, it does mean they need to be ready for lots of games in short timeframes. thay could be very good or very bad depending on our form for those four games. momentum is going to be absolutely key. We could easily be middle bottom half or top 4 by the end of it.

So no Calvert, decoure got a yellow tonight so he’s out. Unsure on other injuries for Everton but they won’t have their best XI against us. it’s a question of who we will have missing

Whilst the accolade is good, this was more the reason I wanted him to win. His confidence will be sky high now, and should hopefully propel him forward. These little things make a huge different to people who are in the right mindset and are driven. When you look at the build up vs the best starting XI in the league with our weakened junior side, it gets closer than you think to the other goals. That context gives the goal a higher score.

Sort of understand but at the same time we don’t know what the future holds. Barry could get David Buusted next game or Balabaned and that’s the end of it. Crawley could definitely beat Bournemouth if they put in that performance again. Bournemouth are chasing promotion.
