Bloody seething still. I was okay after the game but Twitter United fans got me raging. Don’t want to rest on our laurels but United are the same as us with Bruno and Grealish. Without Jack we are bang average and United aren’t top 4 themselves without him.

Yes that’s how I tried to explain it with aggression but your wording is more nuanced than that. Shearer taught the ball a lesson when he headed. And whilst being strong can work against you fouls wise (Lukaku is unlucky for this) he needs to really attack that ball harder ahead of holD up play. with those he needs to adjust that aggression based on the size of the CBS he’s playing against. if he can keep working he should bang a few goals in soon enough

When they went into admin the first time I tried an open post on Facebook saying despite the rivalry didn’t want to see a club go bust. when we were close with xia people on Fb as blues fans were lolling their heads off. I hope they get utterly screwed over this time

The SKY loving of United was sickening today. Might as well have live streamed it on OnlyFans for the United contingent. at times the questioning was more loaded than the mini gun in Predator. They literally shoe horned Jack to United in three times.

He was our third best player tonight behind Cash and McGinn. Martinez made one mega save. He looked average because by his standards it was average. He created more chances than anyone today for us. and he managed an assist in a “poor” game -
I’m waiting for the game we get some mega luck and take all three points when we had no right to. Just one against a decent side. Spurs, City, even Everton as a new strong side. Deflected goal like Liverpool’s game or a Pogba dodgy penalty.

Absolutely. He needs to work harder. Simple as that. Trez and AeG had the same issues until this season. It’s preventing him moving his game forwards and upwards in quality

I can’t think of the word (my suggestion isn’t right) but Watkins needs to be more aggressive when attacking the ball in the air and in to feet.

Traore needed to come off earlier, the goal probably gave him another 15 minutes but it was a tap in. I suppose I can’t fault Smith for giving him a few minutes extra but he did cash no favours again tonight.

We did last season 1-1? we generally give United a good game recently but just shoot ourselves in the foot. We did that again today. passing was so lethargic at times in the second half

We are moving the ball far too slow. We must look to unlock space like United did and either move it quicker or overlap and offer some pretty great passing to unlock defence. wan sick bag cannot go forward like thag with Grealish on the left

It means West Ham end of Feb to March is just as bad if not worse than our January. if we are ahead of them end of Jan they’ll be well behind us come May
