  1. Why should we be? What is the argument? An overpriced Englishman who doesn't even play.
  2. Don't see it happening - at least right now. He seems to prefer to use them as width. What I think we need more often is the CMs joining in. Since the recent disruptions with injuries I have noticed more and more a lack of our CMs (mainly Dougie) making a run into the final 3rd. They are stuck shepherding it in an arc around the opposing team. I would like to see them join and replace one of the bottom points of the "W" with that player then pushing up to create 4 up front instead of 3 (or 6 instead of 5 if you think of it that way).
  3. I want ESR purely to piss off Arsenal fans.
  4. I actually find him quite irritating myself. However, game respect game as they say.
  5. He works in football. He just knows more than you its ok.
  6. False. Rorgan Modgers. If those posts are true about valuations then I don't think the deal gets done. Can't imagine we are interested in paying 15m - or maybe thats just what the cost is nowadays?
  7. The higlights are odd and I can't tell whether he really is just super talented or everything is happening in slow motion. He barely looks to have to make much of an effort.
  8. Hahahah this makes up for your usual novel length posts Jas
  9. Good addition to the thread. Well done my dude.
  10. No way Emery goes to Barcelona. Just not a good fit at all.
  11. Couldn't be more intellectually dishonest if you tried. Don't try and skirt around it now. Turns out this thread is just for arguing - even more so than the transfer thread. I love it.
  12. At least Diaby showed something initially. We haven't got that from Zaniolo and he doesn't offer more than anyone else currently. I hope that changes though.
  13. You don't know any of this with any certainty so maybe take a chill pill.
  14. jog on Fernandinho your opinion has been proven useless
  15. Totally forgot about this. Time to log off.
  16. Hopefully it can be handled well. I don't blame Duran - I like the confidence. He needs a bit of guidance is all.
  17. Plot twist - that gold lion looks awesome
  18. Agree with a lot of this. However, the difference is still noticeable in possession with Konsa there who is further from a natural right back than Cash is. But as you say - those G/A are significant and he is doing a much better job of not running down blind alleys or losing the ball needlessly I just hate that turn he does.
  19. He is athletic so when he presses it is impressive. However, if you watch him closely he is often out of position and then will press at other times without support. All things that just take practice and time.
  20. There are certainly significant cultural differences in sport between the UK and the US - most people who watch both will tell you the same. My hope is that some of the mistakes are down to this. I think its a little early to attribute arrogance when we don't know the full details. No organisation I have ever worked in functioned smoothly on a consistent basis.
  21. This makes a lot of sense actually. Clearly they (Monchi esp) see something in him and from what we have seen he is taking it seriously and trying to learn the system. Would have been interesting if some of those early chances in his brief time here went it.
