  1. What the **** is this bullshit? what moral grounds would those be? the same moral grounds that stopped him from working for the Qataris at PSG?
  2. Yeah. Haaland has 12 goals almost entirely because his team mates have put them on a plate for him. (and that goal he scored was actually a 1-2 with Ollie)
  3. Apparently chelsea will be speaking to potter…. Which means that he should be available in 6 months..
  4. I guarantee you if we were winning games playing great football, the people calling for his head would be his biggest fans. It’s just a reflection on peoples personalities. There are no hidden agendas, it is all about the appraisal of someone’s performance. The fact that we are celebrating a draw with city where we were comfortably second best is testament to how far we have fallen. It wasn’t long ago when we were going toe to toe with them and only losing because of an unbelievable offside decision that wasn’t given allowing Rodri to rob Mings and score. And here we are just 2 seasons on, gushing with optimism because we didn’t lose 6-0? Just how dire have we been in recent times to be celebrating the fact that we clung on for a point. Its an extremely positive result, but only relative to where we are now. Like I’ve said before, I’m delighted we got a point, and the improvement has meant I’m just a little more patient. But my satisfaction levels have gone from 100% from before losing Grealish, to 70% before sacking smith, to 10% before the city game, to 15% after that draw. There may have been an upturn in fortune. But he’s still guided us from 70% to 15% in my eyes. He’s got a long long long way to go yet, but I would genuinely be delighted for him (and us) if he manages it.
  5. FTFY. Ranieri won the premier league and then almost relegated Leicester the very next season. Don’t know why you think Gerrard is relegation-proof.
  6. I’ve been a huuuuge critic, but credit where credits is due. He picked a team for the match. He set his tactics for the match. He changed his formation to counter them as he thought best. He took off a player that wasn’t keeping up with pace. Basically, he did all the shit he’s supposed to have been doing for months now. He finally THOUGHT about the opposition. He’s still got a LONG way to go to redeem himself, but more of wherever that came from in the next 5 matches, and I’ll forgive him. He’s lucky he’s still in the job, and if he was replaced tomorrow - I’d still be happy. But I’m not baying for his blood for the time being. Well done for doing your job (finally)
  7. Was superb today. Not his usual selfish self.
  8. I don’t know you know. I think Cash has been pretty poor for the last 12 months. Before his international call up, he was fantastic
  9. I know mate. I’m sorry. Sometimes you just assume that the person you’re talking to understands things to a certain level. Anyway, the Cash yellow will have been for wasting time by taking too long to get off the field of play. Ref had already come across and asked him to get off once, and he’s still just waking very slowly. And if he takes a long time getting off, that slows things down, and the people on the other team get very angry and upset. And that might start a fight. So to stop that from happening, the referee gives a yellow card, to give the player a warning. And then the people on the other team are happy because the bad time-wasting man got punished.
  10. Wow Ok this makes things a little clearer now. I’m sorry for arguing with you. I’ll Clean your helmet and sharpen your crayons for you as a goodwill gesture.
  11. You’re genuinely hilarious. YOU were wrong. Arguing with me about a fact. And then tell me I should’ve posted the rules here for you? Anyway leave it there. You’re clearly a little lacking in the IQ department.
  12. Oh my god. I told you a FACT. ‘No he doesn’t.’ did you ‘provide evidence’ when you said ‘he has to blow’? so YOU feck off you hypocrite
  13. Are you serious? You want to be spoon fed basic rules? I suggest that if you’re not sure, do a little research before arguing about it.
  14. I’m being the child?! mate google the rules. And in future I suggest you check facts before calling someone a child. I await your apology.
  15. The ref blew the bloody whistle for no bloody reason. Should’ve ignored the flag and let the game play Once he blows the whistle, VAR can’t do shit
  16. 1) he’s onside. 2) the ball is played backwards So.. 1) Utter Shite linesman 2) Utter shite ref.
  17. So many great performances. Special mentions to Mings, Kamara, Watkins. But for me, Young shows Cash how it’s done. Foden completely in his pocket, and the forward balls are so much better than Cash.
  18. Well done boys and we’ll done Stevie G. picked a team for the occasion for a change, and reaping the rewards.
  19. Yh, the crazy 10% that thought… - Beating Everton 3-0 - Losing to Chelsea on pens with a very good display - Beating Man United - Losing to a very good Spurs 2-1 - Battering Wolves for 80 minutes - 10 minutes of utter madness conceding 3 goals ….was a run where it was clear that he knew that he would lose his job after all he had achieved. I really don’t think many people at that point could have contemplated what was to follow.
  20. Not at all. Ae had just played them off the park for 80 minutes, followed by total madness of 10 minutes. I don’t think Smith or 90% of fans saw a sacking coming. He had enough credit in the bank to believe he deserved longer. I don’t believe he thought he was done until he was done.
  21. Oh he’s worse than both. There is no doubt about it.
