  1. Why on earth are we only allocated 1800?? Liverpool seem to only allocate a maximum of 2000. Every other club adheres to the 10% or 3k allocation. Why do the scousers get away with it? Spoke with club and chap seemed to think we may have only asked for 1800 instead of 2k as we had to pay up front for tickets. If that is the case it's a disgrace from the club as we would easily sell out for anfield
  2. Ssn reporting he has failed a medical!! Ffs now we really are in the shit
  3. Had a cracking season last year, but he is soon to be 27 and previously he has played plenty of games in France and the championship where his goal scoring record has been nothing short of woeful...
  4. He is 22 and currently has shin splints, a stress fracture of his left tibia and a torn hamstring. Certainly seems as though he is having some growing pains/difficulty at the moment. Meaning he could be a world beater or a cripple in two years. No doubt why Arsenal and other rumoured clubs re awaiting his recovery Be a big risk for 10 million
  5. Apparently the announcement was brought forward from August 10th as wanted to sign players and not have inflated prices, maybe brought forward to try to help with Delph and benteke? Who knows
  6. Right had some ITK passed today. Source is a mate of mine who isn't even a villa fan. Claims his partner works as part of the legal team. Documents have all been signed since last Thursday and will be officially announced on Wednesday. He had no idea who the buyer was
  7. I have some pretty serious reservations about this to be honest. 1. we have just sacked two staff members for bullying and undermining of Paul Lambert. Roy Keane was a fabulous player, but he has been a woeful manager, many of his players have put this down to his terrible man management. He has an acid tongue and does not hold back. He has little patience with poor players, so he will not be able to help himself at Villa. He is also a competitive and ambitious bloke. Coming here does not make much sense other than if he smells a takeover and potential managers job, in which case it undermines lambert again. I also don't understand why Lambert would want him in when he is trying to reassert himself to the squad after the farce at the end of last season. Anyone would struggle to be the no.1 with Keano around. Only thing I can think of is if Lambert feels a lot of our squad are not putting the effort in and he feels an absolute monster bastard like Keane can whip them into shape?
  8. Just seen Libor at cineworld on broad street. Not on crutches but still with a bit of a limp. Lovely lady with him too fair play!
  9. I really love this lad. Have done all season. Difference being, at the start of the season I thought he was average but a hard working set piece specialist who gave his all every match. Now I can see him becoming an excellent right back as he learns the position. He has gone on leaps and bounds this year. An absolute bargain
  10. He has been sent back today. Just not sharp enough and not getting into games. Very disappointing.
  11. pretty awful today apparently according to my Wednesday supporting mate
  12. Watching the stream on bein sports. Sad to say he was pretty quiet. Struggled to get involved and the game totally passed him by. Few good tackles and one tasty shot aside. He seems to sit very deep, I could count the number of touches in the attacking third on one hand
  13. Good friend at work is a Sheff Wed ST holder, been keeping me up to date on Gardner. Last game was described as off the pace, but today he tells me he has been very good. Played a fabulous through ball to Nuhiu who missed, but he is raving about the pass. He seems excited by what he has seen today. Fingers crossed
  14. yes mine this is getting silly. Missed 20 minutes of the luton game as well. surely I should now get a free month as well!
  15. anyone elses stream stopped working?
  16. We still look positively fragile at the back!
  17. The sky sports app has a story saying our Bradley is top of Allardyces summer shopping list! Dream on fat man
  18. I'm quite excited by this lad. Considering he has come from a 2nd division french side he has settled into premier league fairly well with little or no experience. He looks very raw yes, but certainly has talent and reminds me somewhat of NRC in that he always seems to be on top of the opposition harassing them non stop. Except he isnt a short arse and seems to be able to pass
  19. I'm not sure whether its been mentioned already, but I think Lambert got away with it today after a really bizarre substitution. We were obviously in total control of the game, albeit missing chances, but with 15 to go, he takes off Gabby for Sylla. Now We have sat back countless times this season and paid the price, but even so I can kind of get on board bringing on Sylla, however what I found totally bizarre was that Gabby came off and not Bowery! Gabby was having a great game, has terrific pace for when we are under pressure at the end enabling us to counter, he is strong and had been tracking back well. Bowery on the other hand is a pretty poor player and not great at tracking back, just could not understand it. Lets be honest, they equalised soon after and we were looking shaky, if it werent for a wonder strike from Matty Lowton, we could have lost that game! Im a fan of Lambert and support him fully, but I do think he lucked out today after that sub
  20. I was actually talking about Lowton a half time funnily enough. Over the last 3-4 weeks in particular I have begun to think he is looking like a really good premiership player. The first half against Liverpool i thought he was fantastic. Was great again today, rarely gave the ball away and that goal... say no more, take a bow!
  21. I like Weimann. Not convinced of his ability yet, but I love how he is shoot on sight. Think his shooting technique is such that when he gets a bit of confidence he will score a few screamers
  22. was his injury today linked to the gash he got at spurs? he had dressing on that knee and it looked like he tore stitches
  23. This lads finishing was truely diabolical at the open training day. It got to the point that the crowd were gasping and laughing. Felt sorry for the lad, clearly low on confidence and can't see today helping that much!
  24. so a broken wrist renders him mute and unable to smile for photos... Must be a bad break!
  25. I've never been anything but supportive of him. Also my 8 year old nephew loves (loved) him. No excuses for that today, sorry there just isn't
