  1. Definately not. Read what I wrote again. Delusion would be saying everything is good. That's very different from what I just described.
  2. Indeed. They look like they have purpose now. Much more of a team than before. Making Ronaldo and those to less influential in the squad certainly looks like it's helping.
  3. It's a mindset tbh You can be positive even if life is shit. Doesn't mean you like what is happening or agree with something. We each chose how and what to convey.
  4. Of course we've had periods of positivity, but this is mainly a fanbase of worry, anguish, fear and kneejerk where negativity festers very quickly as winds looks to change. Weak-spined and ruled by fear. At least online here. It's always been. Might be different IRL.
  5. I know VillaTalk. I've been here for nigh on 20 years. We don't do positivity.
  6. Arsenal will be porking everyone up the bum all the way to the WC break. They're really in form right now. Wrong thread.
  7. It's so much fun. I've been playing 16 hours straight. Some issues with blue flags where some drivers not getting out of the way, but man this is so immersive. I've mostly played in real-time because it's so exciting following the action.
  8. I've only done two races so far as Alfa Romeo, but this game is fantastic. Really immersive, great fun and I find myself playing most of it in real time. A pure joy so far.
  9. People really do rate Isak that highly? Maybe I am just being home blind here, but I just don’t see him as prolific at all.
  10. There's a lot to do in regards to revenue. But hard to increase it substantially unless you regularly expose yourself to Champions League football. Villa could easily be a Premier League equivalent of BvB. A bit of hipster appeal with our name and status of a 'dormant giant'. Well, actually dead, but as long as he corpse isn't smelling too bad we can sell i to the hipsters as 'sleeping'.
  11. Possibly. Fine by me if so, as long as the lad brought in improves us.
  12. Maybe? But that is pure speculation tbf. Mings had a knock is what we know the club has said.
  13. I think so too. Carlos seem to be the better ball player and withstands pressure, Mings commanding in the air. I think they complement each other well on paper.
  14. Carlos and Mings played together against Everton, then Carlos got injured so that might be a bit of a stretch.
  15. I think they'll be comfortably safe, but we'll see. They've spent lots, remains to be seen if wisely as well.
  16. Probably. We seem to play our cards so close to the chest that a rumour is most likely confirmation that we won't do a deal for that particular player.
  17. I have long since surrendered to the fact that most people just love being wrong. Rather live a comfortable lie than face an uncomfortable truth. On topic though, Coutinho I feel has untapped potential here. Hopefully he'll find form and kickstart our efforts in the final third, unlocking other players as well as himself. Buendia as well and Luiz too, in a more defensive sort of way. I there is stuff there just waiting to burst out.
  18. Probably not, but you never know what the idea is. Maybe he's better than Mings? Or maybe the rumour i BS.
  19. Yeah, MM is great fun. Good shout.
