I agree. However, have we ever been able to sign this caliber of manager whilst in the PL? Since MON left, it feels like we've been skipping from 'hopeful prospect' to 'proven shit' to 'maybe someday will amount to something possibly'? It's all my fault. I took a bit o a break after our fist season in the Championship and just followed from afar, not watching the games until this season. Well, we all know how that went. It's not Gerrard, it's on me.

The world is about to implode and fall into utter chaos financially. They seem like sharp businessmen, they see it as well. A really clever person would dump the club like a hot potato. We talk about being so boring to watch no-one wants to go. In a not too distant future you won't go because you cannot even afford a single match ticket unless you are filthy rich, much less a season one. They probably see this as well and have a much better understanding of the timeline for it than I do though. No point in pissing money up the wall until things look like they might settle a bit. And they aren't currently. There is a shitstorm brewing, and the first thing we'll stop spending on is luxuries such as watching football.
