Now if that was Claret and Blue instead of Black and Red it would look a very good away kit in my opinion. They even have the badge incorporated into the webbing done the sides of the top.

Just got back great game for the neutral heart attack time once we conceded the 2nd but we did play some great football at times. Credit to Norwich they came for the 3 points and it made for a really end to end game. Gabby was immence, Herd loves a tackle, Petrov was missed when he went off and dare i say it so was Heskey! Him and Warnock are brilliant and gash in the same move sometimes. Chuffed with the 3 points some encouraging signs and obviously things to work on but everyone that was bemoaning the boring negative football before this game will have had to eat their words. Still one game dont make a season so lets see if we can take it to the next game and so on.

Just got back, i can normally take positives out of games but in that one there was none it was absolutely abysmal. Collins in particular was shocking did not win a header in defence or when he went upfront. QPR will totally batter us on Sunday we have no midfield i hope they prove me wrong but i really cant see it.

Was at the game first 20 minutes i thought we played really well up until the point Bent missed his chance which 9 times out of 10 he would have buried. From then on it was pants some speculative efforts from Bannan and Petrov which if had gone in would have been goal of the season contenders and then Gabby dragged one wide at the start of the 2nd Half. I think the Defence defending look solid obviously distrubution is shocking i am hoping Jenas will be the answer to this dropping deep to take the ball off the defence to create attacks. Given is top quality we would not have 7 points with Brad still in goal thats for sure. Reminds me alot of MONs first season i am sure we went until November unbeaten with alot of draws. Build from the back and go from there. Defence looks ok forwards ok but midfield as always is our problem. Up the Villa

Nzogbia is not fit if you ask me, but the only way he will get upto speed is to play. That is what Mcleish is doing and the best from him is yet to come. We never looked like conceding which is a bonus after last year! Drawn in a group that looks like pre season friendlies but Bruges is a nice town shame it will be ruined by the filth!! We can give them tips on Braga too as we have been there done that!
