  1. I normally go for the kiss on the cheek. You have to go for it though. It can get really awkward if you half heartedly lean in. I'd never shake hands with a girl i'm being introduced to in a social situation. That's just weird.
  2. Erm... that's the point...
  3. I'm not sure we as a nation are bigging up the England team at all these days. The papers still jump on individuals, but I've never in my lifetime known the public opinion of the England team to be so low. Rightly so, because the team is pretty crap. But certainly back in the 90's and early 2000's the overwhelming public opinion seemed to be that we had an amazing chance of winning every tournament we played in. It's nowhere near that now.
  4. My S3 is no longer recognised by my computer when I plug it in via USB so I just use Air Droid to get it onto my phone. Really easy to use and I sync all my music through there, just drag and drop. Only thing it's annoying for is playlists, haven't quite figured that out yet although I'm sure it's possible. But I'm moving to Google Music just as soon as I finish uploading it all off my laptop (taking an age). That seems like it might be the best way going forward. I did use to do what Conor did and have a micro sd card with all my music and films on. But then my phone wiped it (or thinks it wiped it)
  5. I doubt it. I'm not a huge app user either. I've got around 3 gb of apps, but I think about half of that is taken up by Google Maps and Youtube which are big ones, but ones I assume most people would have
  6. It's things like this that make me question my dislike for the iPhone. I NEVER get lag, it never freezes up on me. It's very reliable. Is this a Galaxy bloatware issue? It would piss me off royally. Yep, I've said in this thread before that you can say what you like about the iPhone, but as a piece of kit I never had a problem with all 3 of mine (3G plus my two 4's (one got replaced through insurance)) That's not enough for me to justify going back to an iPhone, because they're just not as good, imo, on the software side and ios isn't as good as android by a long shot. But the phone itself worked flawlessly
  7. Although to be fair, someone on here said last weeks (episode 8) was the best GOT episode ever. It wasn't. Not by a long shot. It was still great though
  8. I'd also say your comment about the imp is pretty inaccurate for this season
  9. Exactly, you seem to just not like it. Which is absolutely fine. But I'm not sure why you're surprised every week that you didn't enjoy the episode again
  10. Judging by your previous posts, I think you might just not like GOT.
  11. Adverts for Sky On Demand, when you're watching Sky On Demand. What's the point?
  12. Absolutely right. But neither should we do the complete opposite. We're of course entitled to an opinion on the signing, but people saying "Hopefully we don't sign him" based purely on the fact he comes from the polish league seems a bit mad considering the success we've had with other signings from lower leagues.
  13. Good point but needs balancing when considering KEA, Vlaar, Bennett, Bowery, Dawkins have been a bit meh Of course. But you're the one not being balanced with comments like:
  14. I ditched Swiftkey. Seems to have done the trick on the typing lag. Except for Twitter. Twitter is always really slow, but I'm guessing that's to do with the app rather than the phone so I'm not worried about that. I love my S3, but all these niggly little problems with it have put me off getting another Galaxy S in the future. It's 9 months until I can upgrade, which I'm comfortable with. it's still a great phone. But when the time comes I doubt the S5 (which I assume will be out by that time) will be top of my list for a replacement.
  15. Yeah I agree, nothing wrong with the Benfica one. I quite like it, especially with no sponsor.
  16. Out of curiosity, what are you basing this on?
  17. I'm baffled that some people are seemingly still writing players off because of where they're signed from. Have Benteke and Sylla and Lowton and Westwood taught us nothing?
  18. I know the feeling. My old nokia used to have an alarm that started as just one very small beep. It would just sound once. Then about 2 seconds later it would have a few more beeps a bit louder, then a few more beeps even louder etc etc anyway, That small beep was usually enough to wake me. but whenever I heard the same tone of beep anywhere else in the world, it would send shivers down my spine. It wasn't uncommon to see me shuddering as my shopping got scanned through the till at tesco
  19. Hopefully all of them!
  20. probably because I haven't worn mine yet. but when I do...
  21. That Swansea thread is embarrassing. I agree with this guy I'd leave them to it if I was one of the VT'ers signed up there.
  22. I'd like to suggest that the warning points system is more transparent. I think we should be allowed to see which posts get warnings and which don't
  23. To be fair I don't think it was ITV's fault
