  1. MON - never wanted him as part of the deal. A factor in his decision to walk no doubt - Complete Guesswork KMAC - Was he even at Villa when KMAC was in charge? I remember Milner still playing for us with KMAC as manager GED GMAC - described him correctly as an empty crisp packet floating about - Was hardly going to bring him back when Houllier was still the manager PARDEW - tried him and sent him packing - Was injured at Newcastle LAMBERT - seen enough, bombed him out
  2. Californication What happened? Used to be so good. Really gone down hill now.
  3. Again, why does his attitude stink? As far as I know he always works hard in training and works hard on the pitch. The fact that he's ineffective when on the pitch does not mean he's lazy or he has an attitude problem. It's down to the simple fact that he has more "off" games than "on". But that's not down to choice by him, it's just because he's not very good.
  4. i'm quite liking this game. Started unemployed. Got the Swindon job after a couple of weeks, finished 3rd and missed out on promotion on goal difference. Then lost the play offs. Quit the job as they wouldn't give me any money. Then took over Forest who were struggling, finished 7th in my first season with them. In my second season and i'm joint 2nd with 8 games to go. Getting them promoted this year.
  5. You keep making statements like this but have absolutely no evidence to back it up at all. Then whenever questioned on it you just simply ignore, wait a few weeks, and make the same statement over and over again. I hope your attitude doesn't affect your kids
  6. I hate the way Lambert does this. I didn't rate either Warnock or Hutton but to completely isolate them and make them train with the kids is a bit pathetic IMO. Just seems so childish. Now to do this with Ireland who seemingly hasn't done much wrong, no worse than any other member of the squad and he gets this treatment too.
  7. Pretty sure he offered all of those players better contracts. I think MM said Barry got offered a contract over 100k. What can you do to keep a player who wants to leave and has one year left? It's either cash in or leave on a free. Randy made the right choices.
  8. I would think, seeing as no-one jumped, that the wall must have been instructed specifically to not jump. So not really sure you can blame them. It's not like it went through them. Well I can only imagine they thought that Vlaar would drill it low. How many pints you had? He scored a free kick
  9. Hmmm I'd be shocked if the next-gen consoles can't play current games for PC. That would just be shocking. Though the specs don't look great you can't really compare it to PC. If you built a PC with the same spec as the Xbox you wouldn't be able to play the current games on it. They just function differently. I think.
  10. The same go's for lambert he is also of the same ingredients. Should he have been any kop and an offer came in he would have done what he did to his last 2-3 clubs kicked up a fuss and done one. Unfortunately we are stuck with him now becaues he's shite and out of his depth, got owen coyle, phill brown and steve bruce all over it. The real problem though is our coward of an owner who has no bottle Any offers over 12-14m and lerner will shite his pants again and BOOM!.. Bang go's another best player! Jesus man, we just won a game, cheer up.
  11. I don't think yesterday was the turning point of him playing good. I'd say the Bradford first leg was the first game where I thought he started to look effective in the free role hole (lol)... Against the Baggies I thought he was brilliant.

I actually fancy us against Arsenal at the Emirates. We always seem to do quite well there when playing on the counter. Hope Gabby is back for that one. I think we will get 4 points from the next 4-6 points from the next 4 games.
  13. I think one of the things which has really benefited both him and us is playing him in the free-role. He's probably the only player who doesn't really have any form of defensive duties, but he does get stuck in every now and again. He needs to be leading counter attacks and running at players. When Gabby returns this will help with our counter attacking. N'zogiba said under McLeish he was not liking football because he was defending too much. He doesn't exactly play with a smile on his face now but he seems to have had a kick up the arse. Our chances of survival depends on Zoggy's form.
  14. Problem is he kicked up a fuss to get to Villa, if a bigger club come in for him he will kick up a fuss again. It's obvious he's far too good for us and is destined for big things. I just hope we can convince him to stay for 1 more season.
  15. I know he's young etc but he needs to be mentally stronger when he does miss a chance like yesterday. I feel for the lad as I think many of us would have done the same, but he needs to keep his head up at all times if he wants to reach his full potential. I saw a side to Andi yesterday which I never knew was there.
  16. I thought the reason they restricted online to 24 was because the current-gen hardware could only handle that amount of players in a game. Unlike PC where they unleashed it to 64. Next-gen consoles should definitely have 64 player games. That would be fantastic. I think BF3 really showed that the current-gen hardware needs to come to an end, I had it for both PC and Xbox and the Xbox version just doesn't compare at all.
  17. They need to bring Paranoid back. Really don't know why they got rid of it. The Foo Fighters song is just terrible and really isn't fitting. The Paranoid song just felt right.
  18. Some info on BF4. Seems it may be a launch title on the next-gen consoles. That's one game that will really benefit from being on next-gen! 64 person multiplayer!!! The news comes via EA’s recent earnings call, during which EA Labels president Frank Gibeau said, "We've already talked a little bit about that we have a Battlefield title coming next year, but we're not in a position right now to talk about our development plans and our SKU plan long term." "That will come in about 90 days when we get to show you some Battlefield stuff." Despite Gibeau's reluctance to say so, the news would seem to confirm suspicions that Battlefield 4 will hit as a launch window title for the next generation of consoles. Battlefield 4's planned announcement fits around the expected reveal of Sony and Microsoft’s new hardware. Later in the call, EA CEO John Riccitiello alluded to this by saying, "We think Battlefield and FIFA are going to help us lead as we move into the next set of technology opportunities and platform opportunities, and continue to get bigger." The first news of Battlefield 4 came in July last year, when EA announced that owners of Medal of Honor: Warfighter (which has been shelved for the forseeable future) would be granted to the shooter’s beta. During EA’s financial conference, EA has confirmed that the Battlefield 4 reveal will be coming in “around 90 days.” They are currently not ready to discuss more, but will be soon. EA believes their Battlefield and FIFA franchise be their main sources of revenue for now. EA said: “We’ve already talked a little bit about that we have a Battlefield title coming next year, but we’re not in a position right now to talk about our development plans and our SKU plan long term,” “That will come in about 90 days when we get to show you some Battlefield stuff.” “We think Battlefield and FIFA are going to help us lead as we move into the next set of technology opportunities and platform opportunities, and continue to get bigger.”
  19. I thought Bowery was in the squad primarily to help out the defence on set-pieces. So I can understand his inclusion, though, a winger is something Bowery is definitely not. Had Gabby been fit he would have been the obvious choice.
  20. Because he's a lazy tosser perhaps ? I do wonder if you've ever actually watched him play before.
  21. For some reason I can still see them getting out of it. I know it's highly improbable but I can just see it happening.
  22. We dont make things easy for ourselves do we? Jesus christ I was all over the place in the last 3 minutes. Though, thank god we got the we 3 points!!!
  23. Yeah tried to get tickets for this earlier but couldn't. Gutted.
