    Definitely poorer quality. I've always thought it was something to do with the cameras they shot it on, hence why the FA cup games were particularly bad but I'm probably wrong. I only ever watch ITV HD now, if I have to watch it at all.

    Well apart from the football team, I'm not sure I can agree. We recorded a series win over Australia, won the first of the ODIs against Bangladesh then narrowly lost the next. Obviously losing to Bangladesh is pretty poor, but in the long run isn't a major issue. I'm struggling to think of any other sports were England (or the English) have under performed?

    i genuinely disagree with this, i think we have just as much chance as you do of breaking the CL in the next five years. I know this is a matter of opinion, but seriously?! We don't have anything like the same chance, we need to face up to the fact that Citeh are now a much more attractive prospect than villa for players and not just for the money. With the resources they have I'd be amazed if they don't qualify for the CL next year.

    I've heard Stevie G is definitely off as he's mixed up with the wrong crowd in Liverpool and is doing a Lescott style runner. I don't believe it, but it'll be interesting to see if he does leave.

    I watched county cricket for the first time in years today. Frankly, you can't call many of them athletes, can you? Even Harmison who is on the fringes of the England team looked like he was about to have a heart attack every time he completed his run up.

    well it will count bicks if they get Caroline Lucas on board, but unsure that would happen. I searched on the net and I cannot find on single site that shows you clubs by their colours (i.e. every team with red and blue shirts). obviously a niche, but would help me satisfy my urge to find clubs with yellow and blue shirts. would be a good way of giving a visual acceptance of the alliance, all wearing Boca Juniors shirts! MASSIVE.

    Am going to vote in a bit, although it's been a staunch Labour seat for years now. The labour candidate took over 50% of the vote last time, so obviously more than the Tories and the Lib Dems put together. Still, if I'll be voting Lib Dem in the hope that the majority goes down and next election more people will regard them as a more viable option.

    Spurs. Can't see Liverpool getting there and living in Manchester my life would be a living hell if Citeh came fourth. Same reason as I'm dreading losing today.

    Amazing how many pundits and journalists have no idea of the rules of the game. The myth of 'he got the ball so it can't be a foul' only seems to be prevalent in this country. Clear penalty and serves their horrible, dirty, moaning idiotic players right.

    I can't begin to describe how much I hate Clive Tyldesley. Whilst all the ITV commentators are awful, he's by far the worst.
