  1. i thought he articulated himself really well here as opposed to Arteta, a stark contrast, and lets be honest he has and made some really valid points PGMOL and officials change the goal posts every week and they're reactionary to whats gone on the week before. We have them in Stockley Park re-refereeing the game, then it just becomes someone else's opinion. It's ok though, Howard Webb can come on the tv and defend them and apologise and just carry on. It's bull shit. Everyone can see it. The camp of VAR fans is diminishing with every week. I pray for the day when the eff it off all together and confine it to the rubbish tip
  2. this could easily be posted in 'the games gone thread' ridiculous
  3. Sky News.....the pillar of all truth
  4. an old one, so it might have bin dunne.....
  5. they just can't help it.....it's part of the DNA read about it here in the raggy Birmingham Live Two boys, aged 17, were held on suspicion of a public order offence following the chants during Birmingham City’s home game today Two boys have been arrested after misogynistic chanting was aimed at the female referee during Birmingham City’s home game at St Andrew’s today. The lads, both aged 17 years, were held on suspicion of a public order offence.

    Milan

Anyone been to Milan recently and can recommend a city centre hotel close to all of the attractions. An half decent place, 4 star. Looking at 3 nights in July. I've been looking and got a list of hopefulls but it's always nice to have first hand recommendations. Also has anyone booked tickets for the opera at Teatro alla Scala? If so how was it etc. Ant VTers on here from Milan who can give some pointers? ta
  7. Regardless of anyone's opinion of Farage, all she did was shout him down and typical of anyone who does'nt like something just did not listen to him.... she then came out with the quote of the year when she said he was a racist and he said where did you hear that, she said ''the internet'' and thats the problem with todays society, to them, everything on twitter/x, instagram, snapchat etc is true As a generalisation, 'i read it on the internet, so it must be true' you only have to look at the meltdown on VT over Tyrone Mings.....to all and sundry he was announcing his retirement. For all the good the internet is, it has a lot to answer for!!!
  8. just looked at that but sadly it's not available in my area otherwise i'd have been all over that.
  9. any idea where i could see what the team is? i've searched and can't find it anywhere
  10. Latest odds with Evertons 10 point reduction, sees them come in from 9/2 to 2/1
  11. you should have shouted back at him ''KRO''...leaving a timely gap before following it up with ''Keep Rooney On'' The thick neanderthal slob wouldn't have known how to handle that!!!!
  12. That programme is a complete waste of time and as you say, a propaganda machine for VAR. 2 hands in the back = foul in my book. Since when was it ok to push people and for it not to be a foul? If that was against Villa i'd be livid.
  13. Bump; Here we are at the end of contract game time again. Currently with Sky Ultrafast paying £32pm, end of contract time they are putting it up to £43 !! but they're kindly giving me a £5pm discount bringing it to £38pm So, i've looked around at whats on offer with other companies and with Sly. A new Sky customer going through comparision sites can get Ultrafast (145mbps) for £29pm with a £80 gift card or Ultrafast Plus (500mbps) for £35pm with £110 cashback from Top Cashback Or Vodafone 500 for £30pm Loyalty counts for nothing and i hate it that every time i have to go through the rigmarole of cancelling etc etc just to try to get a decent deal. It's about time that this practice was put a stop to. I know they have to offer you the best deal when it's end of contract time, but the reality is they don't. @Genie do you still have Vodafone and have you been happy with it overall? I'm tempted to go with them but the reviews i've seen are not very favourable, in particular the customer service side.
  14. It's like anything really, you get what you pay for. That said, if you've not had a new tv for over 10 years then you'll definitely notice the difference for the better as, yes, technology has moved on. I would suggest a 50'' and i would also suggest using either Richer Sounds or John Lewis as RS gives a 6 year warranty and JL gives a 5 year warranty. I have an LG OLED which is five years old and it's been great and it's interface and remote are very user friendly and simple to use. I would spend a little extra for the better quality tv, i would look at the LG 50QNED816RE @699 - LG OLED48A26LA @799 or the Samsung QE50Q80C @799 The picture quality on the LG OLED is superb, but i'm slightly biased to LG as i own one. I'm in the market myself for an 85'' inch and i keep being drawn to another LG as i've been happy with what i've had. But, you'll get similar response's from Sony, Samsung, Panasonic owners. Ultimately it's your choice as it's your money, but as i've mentioned, spend a little extra for the better quality tv and you won't regret it. Hope that helps and good luck with what ever you end up buying
  15. we need some help to help you.... size, budget, whats the main use, any particular brands you are partial to, OLED?
  16. latest odds at Bet365 usually one of the three promoted teams do quite well in the first season but this season you have to say the three of them are pretty poor
